My hair is so flat and I would love to have some body. My stylist refuses to put a perm in my hair. I have many styling tools but this is by far the best. Simply wash your hair before bed and let it dry, add in product and curl your hair around the rod and go to bed. It does take some time to get used to something knotted up around your ear when you sleep but you get used to it. Now in the morning it's an 80's style bouffant, I brush it out and let it relax on the way to work. I suck at curling my hair. I’m curl challenged. I wave my hair often but sometimes you just want to have that beautiful curled look. Like you really have your life together you know. This picture is after a spritz and 2 hr wait. I’m impatient but the results have me strut 👏🏻 ting 👏🏻 you feel me! I highly recommend. It’s not complicated at all, I did zigzag my part in the back because I heard that helps and I confer. The back is seamless! Pros: if you wear a bonnet overnight it leaves your hair unbelievably shiny and soft. Actually pretty comfortable to sleep on. Not exactly a pro but if you’re up for a challenge, there are several different ways to do it so you don’t wake up looking like Lord Farquaad who found a curling rod. (He would be excited…I wasn’t) So after trial and error, found out that doing it like a crown with my hair wrapped around like a ribbon and a knot on top was the best. Comes with silk scrunchies that you can use for other hairstyles if you so choose. Cons: didn’t come with a claw clip. That would’ve been helpful since I can’t find mine. But easy fix anyway because Target. A lot harder to do than it looks, especially if you have thick hair. Can’t ever seem to get it tight or secure enough. I knocked off half a star for the learning curve part. Glad I chose to experiment with it when I had the next day off. Otherwise it would’ve been a disaster and I’d go to work looking crazy. The other half star was for the no claw clip. When I was in the middle of this at optimal frustration and my fingers were cramping like crazy and my arms were on fire, securing this wobbly wonky rod would’ve been a lot easier but did not have a claw clip handy. ... show more

As long as my hair is straight and I put these in the right way-it looks great the next day. However my hair has a natural curl and if I let partially air dry and roll it or even when fully wavy dry and roll it then it looks more messy and not the best the next day. So if your hair is straight but holds curls well when you use a curling iron -this might be Amazing. I get a lot of compliments. When I first used this, it did not work for me. I figured it was user error so I'm putting what did work for me in case it is helpful for someone else. Originally, I wrapped my hair when it was damp and left it overnight but my hair was flat within a couple hours. The method that has worked for me consistently is: I blow dry my hair to about 90% dry, then wrap it, and leave it overnight. Doing this, my hair stays curly/wavy for a few days. My hair takes a very long time to fully dry, so if your hair dries very quickly, this may not work for you. ... show more

So i didn’t have high hopes because i have thick hair. Buttttttt lemmeeee tell you!!!! I put it in with dry hair and let it sit for about 6 hours then took it down just to see if I’d do anything. And I have beautiful curls ! I imagine if I put some product in or wet it a little the curls would last all day. Going to try that next. But overall pretty happy with it! ... show more

I bought two sets for each of my daughters. One daughter has medium length hair and these worked great right out of the shower and had enough time to dry. My other daughter has really long hair (almost to her butt). Her hair didn't quite dry overnight with the thickness of the hair wraps. I go through periods of time where I feel like I use too much heat on my hair and it’s time for a break. I was looking for something that could still get the curls I like without the heat. And these work SO WELL!! I use them every day for about 30 minutes while I’m getting ready and doing my make up and my curls last pretty much all day. I do have naturally wavy hair so my texture is the type where I can wrap my hair and curl it without using a holding product so I understand why those with straight hair may find the curls won’t last without product. I did sleep with the rods in one time and while it wasn’t uncomfortable, I definitely prefer to do it in the mornings and just leave them in for a bit.
