You might need a helping hand to hold up the outside shell while installing the 4 support rods – it takes 2 hands to manipulate the rods into the locking tabs and requires some force. The included instructions have misinformation about how the support rods are secured at the top bamboo edge. They do not slip into holes in the bamboo rim. They need to be placed behind a Velcro tab. The implication in the instructions is that both removable bags will fit inside at the same time. Instead, each removable/washable bag fills the shell. Regardless of the above notes, I like this container – it is lightweight and holds a lot of recycle items. Both the removable bags and the shell have handles. The lid has a port for smaller items. This unit can be used for other purposes such as a laundry hamper or toy storage in a kid’s room. We had a plastic tub on our kitchen island for recycles that needed frequent emptying. By switching to this much larger floor unit, we have freed up counter space. My wife really appreciates that. Most of our recycle is clean and dry but sometimes something has a few drops in it and when the inner bag needs cleaning, we just toss it into the washer and insert the second bag in the shell.
