These metal stakes are the real deal, they are pieces of rebar bent to create a stake. These are heavy in weight and are very very strong. You will need a large hammer to get these into the ground. They should provide a lot of holding power when installed properly. You cannot bend these stakes, they are way to dense. I got mine to use on a 7ft high metal wire cattle fence that I am putting up along part of my driveway. The metal fencing is very rigid and will stand up on its own but I need some very heavy duty stakes that I can drive into the rock that will stop the horses and dogs from trying to push the fence out when they are playing. These rebar stakes are exactly what I was looking for. They are dense pieces of rebar bent into a stake, they are heavy to handle and should have a lot of strength holding the object they are being used on. I did not know they made rebar stakes until I saw these. I am very very pleased with these, they have exceeded what I was looking for. ... show more

These are super-heavy-duty staples. I was going to use these to hold down a large tarp I have over my trailer, but these are so strong that I'm thinking of using them in my garden to hold down a huge garden statue. These are the best anchors to hold down a green house or canopy or pretty much anything, they're long, durable and made from great quality steel. I have no worries about my greenhouse blowing away if we get any hurricanes this year but if it does, i'll come back and update this but I'm pretty sure these will last for years. ... show more

We're in a wind prone area and there are times in the winter where we worry about losing a section of fence. With some 1/4" synthetic winch rope, we're creating a few tie-down points along the fence to stabilize it in high wind situations. These rebar stakes are perfect. Like a tent stake driven in at an angle, these allow me to postpone re-building the fence until spring. The ends have been ground to a chisel point and the almost 1/2" rebar is folded into a 180 degree bend that grabs the earth and gives a solid point of contact. I like 'em. I can see other uses with patio covers, popup canopies, and other semi-permanent structures that need a little help remaining in place. Simple, effective and stout. ... show more

These solid, heavy, sturdy U hook stakes have arrived not a moment too soon. The pole for a popular set of bird feeders just doesn't have the staking power needed at its base. These rebar-look stakes look like they can take on weight and wind, and won't bend when pounded in. I love the rebar ridges which should grab soil and help the bar stay in place. Well coated to protect the metal, these look great and should provide lasting hold. I chose the 12" to stabilize feeders and poles for hanging flower baskets. Love these. ... show more

These ground stakes are very sturdy and are a nice size. You can hammer them into the yard to secure cables, hoses or whatever else needs to be anchored down. I would highly recommend them.

As a rule we have several things "staked down" in our yard. Living in a river valley we had a lot of wind and high gusts. Everything less than these have failed to hold. These Wind Stakes do feel heavy duty and I really like this shape which ads a lot of stability and holds well, but unfortunately I cannot recommend them base on the fact that they already came in all covered in rust. This is not acceptable and the will not last much with such issue.
