The eternal search for the perfect decapper for the amateur beekeeper continues. This is pretty good and better than most I've used. I use 4 different tools to get the job done depending on the frame and this is definitely a go to one.

The media could not be loaded. This has seriously cut the time to cap frames by at least a factor of 3. Once you get the hang of it, which should take all of 2 frames, you'll wonder why it took so long to come up with this tool. Cappings come off reliably, predictably, and thoroughly. Very, very little uncapped honey with a single pass. The video shown I'm going top to bottom on the frame but it works just as good moving side to side. You will get the occasional missed spot which is easily scratched off later. It also leaves much cleaner cappings, which are easier to wash out and dry for melting. Bottom line...just buy it.
