Our 9 year old granddaughter loved this camera. Once her dad figured out how to operate it and set it for better pictures she was off and running. For a childs first camera it works very well. I gave it 5 stars for picture quality because as a childs first camera, and knowing it is only black and white picures, it did very well. My daughter loves it! She is 5 and wanted a camera for her this one as it still has some of the features as an expensive camera but super kid friend. She takes pictures of everyone now. You do have to figure out the settings for picture print quality but once you have it on the right setting you can really see the picture. Got these for my kids as they love to borrow our phones to take pictures of feet, chairs… whatever’s in front of them really. The ability to print out pictures is an awesome feature and it uses thermal paper so refills are inexpensive and it doesn’t use ink or expensive “Polaroid” paper. The controls are a little confusing and hard to see, but my 4 year old has figured out how to get it to take pictures so it’s not too bad. The selfie mode is handy and a nice extra from similar cameras I’ve found.
