My 5 yr old Granddaughter loves this microscope. She needs supervision, of course, until she learns how to use it. Lots of slides and pre made slides. I’m very impressed with the quality and sturdiness. This is a perfect tool to acclimate her to the real classroom telescope in the future. Got 20 microscopes for 120 4th graders. This was one brand, These are a good value for the money and yet didn’t hold up after the one day so I returned. I did keep one for my grandchildren. They are more difficult to focus in a group setting because the kids are so excited. They would work well in smaller classrooms or for home schoolers. Our kids were so excited for Amoeba Day that they put these to the test. Hands on science isn’t done as much anymore so when the kids get to do it it’s hard to be patient and they want NCIS industrial quality…lol. ... show more

I got this to look at skin and fecal samples on my goat herd. I didnt need a fancy expensive one. This is perfect and probably as good, or even better, than the much more expensive ones. Love the case. Everything very sturdy and well made.
