The picture shows the height without the extra bar (see separate pic) you can add for a higher goal. It took us a little while to put together without detailed instructions but we eventually got there. This is perfect for our 4 ear old who is always wanting to play ball with his older brothers. It was very easy to put together and it came with 3 balls! I like that you can easily adjust the height of the hoop to your desire. The only downside that I have with this hoop would be the size of the base. When I filled it with water it didn't seem like it was very sturdy so I just placed the hoop back against something. It doesn't tip over as of yet playing with it not against something but I am just being careful. I may buy that expandable gel for these type of things and see how that works. This is a great option for when your kiddo is too big for the Little Tykes toddler basketball hoop but not quite ready for a full size hoop. This comes with everything needed to assemble and play- it even comes with two small "basketballs" (small bouncy ball that you fill with air- hand pump included). My kiddos love playing with this basketball hoop and so far it is holding strong! I only have 2 complaints- the directions were on the box, in picture form, and lacked most of the details (I had to guess where each component went to be honest) So if you are not technically minded, you may struggle to assemble this hoop. Additionally, you have to apply the lines to make the box behind the hoop (they are stickers) and they overlap which makes the backboard look cheap. ... show more

The short plastic hoop is fun for kids to play with, but it isn't as sturdy as ones that are blow-molded. Easy to put together, and no tools are needed. There are no holes already drilled in the top bar, and vinyl stickers don't fit well. Overall, it's a nice product, but the rigidity isn't the best. Decent product for a child. ... show more

I really like the height. The hoop we have is the short plastic one which isn’t fun for the kids as they get bigger. It’s easy to assemble and no tools are required. Only reason I didn’t give 5 stars. It’s a little wobbly. It’s not as rigid as the tried and true blow molded plastic ones you get at the store that go to about 40 inches. The top bar that connects to the hook and backboard doesn’t have predrilled holes. It just relies on the friction of a screw to prevent it from sliding down inside the other tube. The vinyl stickers didn’t fit very well. If these don’t really bother you it’s a nice hoop. Not quite rigid enough for me to give 5 stars but I still think it’s a nice product. ... show more
