This safety tool is nicely weighted & balanced for use. It also has a non slip grip that feels good & fits well in your hand. The heavy duty sharp steel pointed end will do the desired side window piercing & the hammer end will aid clearing the shattered glass. (Seen on video) The pointed end has a removable silicone protective cover without a connection to the unit as not to get in the way when needed in an emergent situation. The seat belt cutter is great in theory. The cutting blade is small & is in a narrow space with intent I assume to keep the starting area of cutting the seat belt with limited motion. Perhaps just getting it started is the real difficulty. The seat belt ripping seems to be the biggest challenge if you're not one with a lot of strength. Perseverance, motivation & an adrenaline rush in a charged situation may aid success. Or add a pair of trauma scissors for cutting & store with this otherwise great tool. I was looking for a tool with a seat belt cutter and a glass breaker. I've seen this one had a power bank. Its only 2000 mAh. It's for emergencies. I would say it will get you out of a jam. Never had to use it (hope I never have too). It seems to be a sturdy tool. I store it in a safe and handy place. This is no toy or should it be used as such. As for the flashlight and the side light. They work as advertised. The alarm works as it should. For the solar panels. I can't review that function. With my experience with solar. It is very slow. It states on the box its micro USB but mine is USB-C. I recommend this if your like me that carries high quality tools and an air inflator in the trunk. I bought this for early morning and late night dog walks. What I liked about this over the others is the light and siren buttons are beside each other. Other models had the siren button located at the bottom of the handle. You only have one hand to work with when walking a dog. To me this light is an easy 5/5 stars. I like the size and the weight. The window breaking tool could be a cruel weapon if needed. The flashlight button is short press - bright/dim/flash/off. (I use all 3) the flash is great if a car is coming. You long press the flaslight button to activate the side light - bright light/dim/emergencyredblue. The siren button is a long press (3/4 seconds) with 3 different tones and it is very loud. The window break tool is very sharp and it comes with a rubber cover. The handle comes with a wrist strap that I always use so I dont drop the light on my dog. You could scare away most unwanted animals with the flashing light mode and blazing siren. If that fails the window breaking tool could always be a great back-up if needed. I feel the size, weight, sturdiness, was all three taken into consideration when building this flashlight. 5/5 Stars! I paid $18 range. Hope this helps! ... show more

This is a great product that I highly recommend and of course hope you will never need! The hammer has a nice weight and should do its intended job effectively. The light output is decent and is easy to turn on. I believe the storage pouch would make it easier to find the tool in an emergency, especially if it's stored with other hard objects.
