  • This thing hits!
I've been a kicker fan for 2 decades. I have it in my single cab truck and it sounds great! The bass is firm and solid not all sloppy and recklessly shaking the truck. It blends and fits with the music. Comes ready to go out of the box, they even include mounting brackets to keep them in place. I have a 93 ranger so space is limited, it fits behind the passenger seat and center arm rest; However, the armrest had to be removed since it's attached to the driver seat and the sub wouldn't allow the driver seat to push all the way back with the armrest hitting up against the box. I'm 6'5" and need all the room I can get. It says max RMS is 600 watts @ 2 ohms so I bought the kicker cx800 amp to pair with it which conveniently, pushes 600 watts @ 2 ohms and it pushes it just fine. Just make sure you set the gain right and things should be fine. Good Buy! ... show more

  • Amazing for size
Great sound and quality for the size if you don’t have a lot of room to put speakers. I bought 3 of these and put 1 in a 1998 Mazda B3000 and the other 2 went in a 2017 F250 CrewCab.

  • Fits like a glove for a 2012 Silverado Single Cab
As the headline suggests, i was looking for a good box for my single cab Silverado, It feels like it was made for behind the seat as in it fits tightly. Didn't even need to mount the box, I just put the seat back and it doesnt move around at all. Nice having the bass right behind you. As for the sound, it sounds great. Lots of bass the buck. Maybe its just me but it seemed to hit harder after "Breaking" it in properly. ... show more

  • Complete Trash The Wiring Will Break In Months!!!
I want to say first that I was a Huge Fan of Kickers and I have had them in all of my vehicles. I purchased a truck so I needed a slimmer size to fit under the seat. These fit perfect. The Big Problem is that after a few months the Subwoofer went out. I opened it up and the wiring had burnt up. I ended up sottering back together with a new wire. I didn't think anything of it at first so I made an even bigger mistake and bought a second one so the truck would really be bumping... Well that one had the same issue and when I fixed it, it broke again after 10 minutes.. I hate to say all of this about the brand I had once loved, but at the time they were $350 a piece and thats way too expensive to be having these issues. You must do better Kicker!! U lost my business!! ... show more

  • Great so far
I've wanted a solo basic for almost 20 years, finally got it and love it, worth every penny

  • Allow burn-in time!
This Sub requires a gradual burn-in period. Do not go nuts during the first couple of weeks or the sub will over-heat. Rather expensive for a "non-booming" sub. Sound quality is xlnt.

  • Solidly built, looks very nice
This went into a 89 GMC 1500 behind the bench seat and fit really well. The sound is great with 500watts RMS going to it from an Infinity 5 channel. The other 4 speakers are Hertz 4X6 coaxes crossed over at 150Hz at the pillars and 200Hz at the dash. I crossed the sub over at 90 and I'm OK with the slight midbass dip for this set up. I expect it to break in over time and sound even better. It's built well and looks better than I suspect most DIY boxes usually end up looking. I think you'd be really hard pressed to piece something together with the same foot print and performance. Don't expect to blow your windows out with this. It's a sealed box and leans more towards accuracy than output. As long as you keep your expectations in check you'll be pretty happy. ... show more

  • Wow! Simply WOW!!😮
I have always seen the reviews of these L7s and people raving about this sub. I ran this in a Ford E350 passenger van and all I can say is AMAZING 🤩! Not a super bass. But definitely filled the cab of incredible lows from every genre. From rap, r&b,pop, edm, Latin and everything you can throw at it. With the right amount and the adjustments, this is perfect. Kind of pricey compared to other subs. But worth it. Would buy again depending on application. 👍👍👍👍 ... show more
