Very well put together, but make sure to get the right size. I can easily workout with150-200 pounds on most exercises with dumbbells but 50 pounds of sand is way too much. In hindsight I should’ve gotten the small size and then work up to the large bag

I researched and read many a review before deciding on a sandbag to incorporate into my workout. Because I weigh 220 lbs and I was looking to load 25-50% of my bodyweight, I needed something that could take a beating and hold up to the stress. While some reviewers talk about beating the hell out of their sandbags and throwing them onto rocks and dirt, I actually throw mine onto the same mat that I do my exercises on... lo and behold, it's still in mint condition despite my lifting and throwing it (ground to shoulder) hundreds of times a week. The free jumprope and sweatbands are a cute bonus, but the truth is that this thing is well built and supremely useful and durable. 5 stars for sure. I don't know if I could throw it onto rocks, and I don't even care to find out. Don't have that kind of money. ... show more
