I'll be honest, I bought this kit for the macro lens. I was impressed with the photos other reviewers shared and I figured I'd give it a try. Well, it doesn't disappoint. My only regret is not buying it sooner. The set comes with a clip that holds the lenses to the phone camera. Center the clip, screw in the lens, and you're good to go. I make sure not to have the lens covers off for too long so I don't get dust or worse, smudges and scratches on them. I only take the bottom cover off as I'm about to screw in the lens, and I don't remove the lens cap until I'm ready to take pictures. When I done, I immediately put them back on and back into the box. Haven't used the small pouch yet, the box is convenient enough. I have tried the lenses both with and without my slim case and haven't noticed too much of a difference. It's not terribly inconvenient to remove the case, so that's not a deal breaker for me. Now for the pictures. As I said at the beginning of the review, I bought this set for the macro lens and WOW! It's exactly what I've been looking for. Pictures are clear and sharp as a tack. I'm still trying to figure out the best positioning for the clip/lens, but I'm really pleased with how close I'm able to get to my subject. I do have to keep the subject centered as there seems to be blurring or distortion the further you get from the center, but that's ok by me. I'm still playing around with it, so it may be user error. The photos I'm sharing here are not zoomed in, nor cropped, and only edited to add text. In all, I am really quite pleased with this purchase. ... show more

IPhone 12 Pro Max user here. If my phone didn’t have a case on it, the lens clip would be better, but since I have a case, light does leak into the picture and every picture with every lens has a vignette. For those that do not know, all three “cameras” on the IPhone are not all used at the same time (and creating a lens that has focus points for all three cameras would be insane and impractical ) so adding the clip to the active/main camera is just fine. Overall, the fish eye is garbage, the wide angle works well if you zoom in slightly, and the macro is pretty great for super close pictures though it does have a fair amount of distortion outside of the focus point. With the price being fairly reasonable, I am personally ok with keeping them knowing 1 of them is practically useless for me. ... show more

    • It works with cases!
I bought this for only the macro lens because I work for a flower shop and I need close-up pictures to show our beautiful flowers. Unfortunately, my s10+ does not have a close enough focal point to get a good picture without an additional lens. I was using an otterbox pursuit case on my phone, and the lens worked with no issues. I am not a professional photographer, but I did not see any distortion in the lens, and colors were extremely vivid and clear through the lens. I did not do much with the wide lens or fish-eye, but I expect similar quality from based on the good experience from this lens. ... show more

This kit redefines the de concept of phone photographs. I used these lenses on a Google Pixel 3a and I had no idea that the phone's camera had so much potential; the macro lens amplifies the image and captures so many details I was missing, the fish-eye lens is fun, and the wide angle lens works best in panoramic views (obviously). Lenses are easy to screw on the clip and all easily fit in your pocket. Moreover, the clip can be placed on a Pixel 3a with case, thus no need to take off the case!
