I use this over my outdoor Rabbits🐇. I tried using regular tarps, and though they produce nice shade, they also generated a lot of heat. This is perfect for shade and it stays cool underneath. Perfect for my rabbits when they’re out in their in the pen. Also protects them from flying predators. I absolutely love this shade and I think I will set one up on my patio for me :-). It does make a noticeable difference in temperature. First one we received had a hole in it. Returned it and they sent us a new one no problem. Second one had a grommet rip out as soon as we set it up. We'll just work with it. Quality is lacking. Overall we're pleased with how it works.

Bought this for my chickens. Even in 100+ degrees, you could feel a noticeable difference in the temp under the cloth. I lost 4 chickens this summer due to the extreme heat. I use 70% Sun Shade 10 foot long, I use metal clips this shade blocks the sun allowing air to circulate, It is not that sturdy in 40 MPH winds so I fold it back while we have winds every few days. As far as quality no rips, it does what it is suppose to do. Buy It.

We've been having super hot weather with intense sun. We had just got our vegetables in the garden and BAM, 100 degree weather in a South facing yard. We bought this shade cover, had it delivered the next day, and hung it up. It kept the plants safe from the sun, but still allowed light to filter through. It was true to size, which was important to my application, and the grommet are heavy duty. It did tear in a spot when we had a storm, which is why I'm giving only 4 stars, but the tear hasn't gotten bigger like I thought it would. I've had it up over a month and so far, so good. Update: November 2023 Unfortunately all the grommets on one side tore out in a wind storm, and I had to take it down. I might be able to salvage it into a much smaller size, I'll see if it's worth the time & effort. I really wanted to get a year out of this product, but I can't say I'm surprised.
