The ties at the top did rip off at one point, but was eady to hand sew back together. I did not use the attachment it came with since we already had a hook in the ceiling. This canopy is soft, gorgeous, and very long. I washed and dried mine (without the metal hoop) before installing it and that took all the wrinkles out. I hung it above the head of my daughter’s full sized bed because she wanted a tent and the bonus is it blocks her blinding night light! I used the adhesive medallion and hook it came with and then someone sat on the edge of the canopy pulling on the fabric and the hook broke off. I wasn’t able to peel the medallion off the ceiling to replace the hook without taking off the textured ceiling so I left it up there and used a hook I screwed into the stud which is what I should have done in the first place. It got sat on again and the stitching at the top opening popped a little. Treat it gently and you should be fine. Put it in a small child’s room and it may or may not make it intact. Still, looks just like the picture and really makes a lovely fantasy little tent. I’ll probably get one for my son too when he’s in a full size bed. ... show more

This product came fast and was super easy to install. The fabric is breathable and partly sheer; which is just enough to drape over my toddler's bed.
