These sound really good when paired with the proper box and amp setup! Deep bass that actually sounds pretty good, at least to me. It doesn't have that "tin" sound or scratchy sound as some cheaper subs can have. Really great product for someone just wanting a little extra bass in their music without wanting or needing the power to win bass competitions. Currently have two of these subs in my car paired with a 500w amplifier and wired to 2 ohms and it's waaaayyy overkill for my car, but worth it! ... show more

Keep in mind I have my sub installed in a pretty shallow custom box kit for a C5 corvette, playing songs with extremely low bass like 20-30htz is not noticeable even with volume cranked up could be the box or could be an amp (i have a 600watt amp). i set my crossovers so that my component speakers are set to mid bas 6.5 70-250 mid-range 4.0 250-1k tweeter 2.0 1k and on sub amp sub 12.0 0htz-70ht ... show more
