Great head unit for the price. Easy to install. Replaced a single din deck in my 1997 F350 with this double din. Easy to use, big screen, and connects with my android by blue tooth or USB. Highly recommend!!

Sound quality on this head unit is great I had to integrate it into a Tahoe which was a pain in the ass but it does everything seemlessly.... The touch screen died in my 2017 Volkswagen Tiguan and this has been fantastic replacement! In addition to the separate wiring harness, I also had to buy a USB kit to replace the USB in the car to still be able to use Android auto, but now that everything is installed, it works great!

    • Good, but not great!
Was looking for a HD radio capable head unit that has some quality features. Didn't want some super cheap junk that I was surely going to be disappointed with. I think I was expecting a little more from the Kenwood brand. This head unit has been a little bit of a letdown to be honest. There is a huge difference in sound quality based on your source your using to play it from. EQ'ing that sound is made worse by the variance in quality across those sources. It has been extremely frustrating trying to dial in the sound on this unit to be tolerable across the radio, bluetooth, carplay sources. Overall its significantly better than 80% of the junk out there on the market but I think I would find a different head unit next time I am in the market. I don't want to throw mud at Kenwood as a whole so this only my opinion based on the DMX709S ... show more

    • Do not buy
Shuts off on its own all the time. Then when it turns back on all the settings are lost. Wiring and install was professionally done and quadrupal checked. This unit is actual garbage.
