I was skeptical when I saw the price for this bungee cord. I was expecting a flimsy, cheaply made cord but was pleasantly surprised. The bungee cord I received is very durable, thick and much better than a lot of the bungee cords sold by competitors. So far, I've use these to secure the cover to my a/c condenser unit during wind/hail storms after the flimsy, thin bungee cords that came with my cover broke. These seem very durable and thick but you really have to pull hard to get it to stretch. It does stretch to about 48 inches, but not easily. I wanted to use these around prairie grass when it comes time to cut it back and it's tough to get the ends together to connect because the hooks are really thick also. ... show more

These bungee cords is a real helper for my intended use. We use these to strap and oversized CPU box on to a cart when moving my son to and from his dorm room. Works great for any need of securing a small item in place. The price was reasonable when I pitched these half a year ago, it doubled since.

I tripped over some very thick AND stretchy bungees at a big weekly flea market just about that long ago, for 3 bucks. They lasted for years, through my little moving business, and northeast winters, and they were priceless. After years passed I'd go back there at the first sign of wear, and there they were, 3 bucks. Well, covid's got me hunkered down (healthy AND happy) and shopping online. It's my fault, I admit, but I'm not sure what I can use them for. Holding down brush on the way to the municipal dump-off? That was the plan. They don't stretch ANY more than a foot, and they're really stretched and straining at that. I saw all the great reviews, and you must've all found what you wanted, but they're a disappointment to me. I really don't expect them to last long. ... show more
