Description

The Keeley Fuzz Bender is a 5 knob – 3 transistor modern fuzz using a combination of high-gain silicon and silky smooth germanium. What makes fuzz better? Active EQ. Using two gyrators as an active EQ gives you the ability to create massive fuzz tones not possible with typical square-wave boxes. Pummel your amp with over 20dB of boost/cut at 100Hz and 10K Hz. The Fuzz Bender is built around vintage Japanese germanium to create its monumental fuzz tones. With the all new Bias Control, you control the attack and decay of your notes. Anything from Fat Square Waves to Angular Fuzz to glitchy-Velcro attacks are possible with the Bias Control. The Fuzz Bender’s five knobs confirm size matters when creating a new and epic world of fuzz.

  • The fuzziest fuzz to fuzz them all
This pedal does not have a "clean" tone... it practices exactly what it preaches. I'm enjoying discovering all of the tones that this pedal produces. Very versatile this pedal. I have owned and played the EHX big muff fuzzes for years, they sound great but this pedal gives more control to be able to shape the tone how each tone junkie wants it. I placed it third in my signal chain for the East River Drive to be able to boost some mids into the pedal to add a lot of beefiness.... not that it needs it. As a guitar player of 20 years, this pedal is a lot of fun... i'm glad i purchased. ... show more

  • Good Mojo with this one
I am not a huge fuzz fan but I was looking for Greenbaum's Spirit in the Sky tone and this does it nicely for me. It could be a bit "spittier" but it gets close enough while staying controllable all over the neck and different string gauges. I also get a good Stones "Satisfaction" sound with this great fuzz pedal. the right Reverb is important with these sounds too but I guess that's another discussion I am a bit of a tone hound and can say that this one is truly a keeper! ... show more

  • One of the best Fuzz's I've owned
The Bias knob goes from normal to crazy, great tonal adjustment, more edge than my Swollen Pickle, I use both

  • New favorite fuzz. Very controllable fuzz, can go from wild to mild with no loss of quality tone!
Awesome fuzz, have a couple of others that may now be expendable…probably not, but still this is now my fuZ pedal on my main board!

  • Interesting Fuzz
It is way more gatey with any bias except off then I would expect from a bender type of circuit. Gets woofy pretty fast into a fender type amp. Into a Marshall it's much less woofy. I found that it cleaned up with my guitar volume much more then some other reviews would lead you to believe. For that tone I kept the fuzz at around 12-1 o'clock. Using an ego compressor behind it in the chain gave a really nice cleanish tone. It works well with my fasel crybaby in front of it. I have found no negative reactions to any other pedals in the chain. I wouldn't say I'm blown away by it but I'll give it some more time. ... show more
