That being said the case it self is quite flimsy and if using Neodymium magnets the yields to the magnets allowing for the included metal disk to be pulled out of the opening in the bottom. No damage occurred, however one must dismantle it and reassemble to restore intended functionality. Magnet has been machined backwards, which means as it sits in the plastic holder it will push away from the belt clip instead of sticking to it. I returned the item for a replacement, and the replacement was the same way. I just asked for a refund this time. There must have been a bad batch of them get out to the customer somehow. Disappointed in the quality of the product, Kamui usually has outstanding quality. I received a slightly defective chalk bucket so I messaged kamui and received no response. Kamui nor Amazon resolved my issue unfortunately.

The magnet in the bottom piece of the chalk holder was facing the wrong way so the polarities were not compatible. Causing the chalk holder to push away from base or wanna flip sideways.

used this for about a month now. the only issue i have is that the magnet on the back is not secured to the hex plate. so constantly i have to put the magnet back in while trying to continue playing in my league. throws off my rythm all the time.
