I received this first Gun safe, everything was great about it. IT was well built to keep child/theft away. Will alarm if there present of suspicious activities by slight movement to remind the owner. Alarm is loud enough to be heard, Guns are well protected and store, and secure to keep them safe at all time. I got this because it has tremedous value for a compact gun safe at this typical size for my need. I bought this as a Christmas gift for my husband. Here is our review so far… Pros: install was easy and we used the provided lag bolts. They appear to be efficient at securing the safe it to the wall (though we did not actually use them all). The door secures and opens easily. The lock works well using any of the three entry options. The foam pieces are easily removable so that’s convenient. The ammo boxes in the door (pictured) could easily be fitted next the other boxes on the top shelf which would leave room for more ammo boxes or magazines. For a small safe it’s rather impressive at this price point. Cons: It’s a small safe. Like other reviews warned, it does not house as advertised. We were able to fit a tall Benelli shotgun, a standard AR-15, and a handgun along with the ammo pictured. However, we had to precision fit them so the door would close which meant the two long guns were turned to accommodate the scope on the rifle and the length of the shotgun. The top shelf was advertised as removable but that was easier said than done so we left it as is and still made it work. The pistol pocket is really only usable if you have an extremely small handgun. My husband ultimately chose not to use it for his though if positioned *just* right the door would close. The lag bolts stick out into the cavity of the safe about 1 knuckle deep so that may play into how things fit depending on what you put in there. It didn’t much bother us though. ... show more

I am very impressed with this gun safe. Its compact size is perfect for my needs, but the functionality is not compromised at all. It is much sturdier than I expected and of good quality for its intended use. Okay so well i dont usually leave reviews but this takes the cake, its absolutely trash, i did everything correctly in the instructions and it doesnt work and within 5 minutes of use the # button just stopped working, if this was my only option id rather just have a gun lay on my bed. i cant unlock it but i can definitely lock it. this is unreliable and i tried contacting customer support for them to leave me on read, DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ... show more

Good little gun cabinet especially for small rooms or apartments. If you understand that it's a cabinet and not an actual safe, you won't be disappointed in it. My AR Patterned friends won't fit unless I turn them sideways (but i knew that when I purchased), and the supplied holster will not accommodate a full size firearm, but subcompact fits perfectly I wish it had an option for LEDs but I'll just buy some stick-on motion sensored ones. Full size and subcompact firearm fits on the shelf just fine. Keypad has an alarm for motion/vibration and one for improper code attempt which is nice because we all know kids get a little curious sometimes. Really nice and sturdy safe. Good size , but also compact that fits nicely in any space, even a closet. Has a set of backup keys in case needed. Great quality and weight.

    • It's okay and it does what I need it to do
The first one I got was a dud because the electronic keypad wouldn't unlock the safe. The key worked fortunately. The second one I got works fine. Also I believe the solenoid that locks the handle in place is pretty small but gets the job done. I got this safe to prevent any children/unwanted visitors from having an easy time getting in, and it does just that. It has all the basic functions a safe should have. The price is cheap because it's not a high quality safe, and for me personally that's okay because I didn't want to spend $400+ for a nice one. If you want a high quality safe, then you're gonna be spending a lot more. ... show more
