Until I received this I had been using the lower section of a hand auger with an adapter. This is like night and day. I only used it once but it cut the holes like nothing. I couldn't believe how light weight it is.

WOW fantastic. Ice just thick enough today. Cut holes in 4" of ice in less than 10 seconds. Way better than expected.

    • Must use a brushless drill
It works pretty darn good. I tried it last week with a older gen 5 rigid hammer drill, it would drill about two holes and the thermal overload would stop it. it cut very well not the augers problem.
