Mesh sling seat with 3 points of secure nylon to go around the points of the triangle on the dome. However, you need to wrap the cording around the poles to further secure it but I think I need to take a knotting class to make sure I can tie the cording well enough to keep it in place. There must be a better way to secure the sides. ... show more

Size and weight are great! Easy to move when needing to mow or move to another part of the lawn. Kids love to play on the swing. When putting together, you absolutely need 2 people to put together. It will save you a lot of frustration. I put the base together by myself and it took 2 hours. I got someone to help for the rest and that still took about 1.5 hours. Make sure you read the directions VERY carefully and realize this isn’t something you can put together in an hour. I’d suggest about 3 hours. Got this for Christmas for my 2 kids (both under 5 years old). They absolutely love it except about 3 weeks from the time we put it up we heard terrible cries only to see that the straps to the swing had ripped and they'd crashed and bashed their heads on the ground. We got this model specifically for the swing, but they absolutely need to change how the swing hangs, preferably with some sort of metal hanging system instead. I would say the actual structure is sturdy feeling, but due to the safety concerns with the swing and I wouldn't want another kid to get really hurt, 1 star. ... show more
