  • Worth every penny!
I read the reviews ahead of time, so I was mentally prepared for how long this would take and like all the other reviews have mentioned this playset is extremely time consuming. There are 300 steps to complete however, very rarely were the steps difficult. In fact, I was able to do the majority of the building on my own with minimal experience. The BILT app was essential to have and was extremely easy to use. I couldn’t imagine building it without the app. I have seen people mention that they thought the quality of the wood was not great, but I have to disagree. I thought the playset was great quality and very sturdy. I also had no issues with the hardware. It is essential to sort the pieces before you start. I used Post-it notes to label each piece. I couldn’t imagine having to search for each piece when it came time to building. It would’ve added a lot of time and a lot of frustration on building day. I did not organize the hardware, but I should have. I would suggest organizing it numerically. Overall, I think this is a great playset. The kids LOVE it which makes all of the time and money spent on it worth it. ... show more

  • So m8ch fun, even my adult children want to use it.
My 2 year old grandson LOVES his "house". He can easily use both slides, the ladder to climb up, and the swings. He needs a bit of help to do the rock wall (for a while) and doesn't go p to the crow's nest without help, but soon he will be all over this play structure. I'm not going to lie, it took a full week to put it together, even the tube slide came in pieces. But everything was clearly labeled and and pre drilled. There are just hundreds of pieces! My son basically built the entire thing (with a little help in just a few spots to lift things in place) over the span of a weekend and nights after work. We plan to seal the wood so it will last a long time. It is structurally sound, my son sat on the net swing and he is 250 lbs. It is a quality built set and the wood is sanded smooth and the bolts are recessed where needed. I* am extremely happy with this purchase! ... show more

  • Some assembly required ;)
My wife shopped around for playscapes for our 5 kids ages 6-11 (6yr old twin boys 8yr old twin girls, 11yr old boy). Received the delivery in 5 large boxes on a Monday and I had it assembled completely by Sunday. I work from home and we are currently slow, so I was able to spend a few hours a day/night putting this together myself. I am very handy, but anyone with decent tools and a little patience can easily put this together. The paper instructions were very useful, and the BILT app with 3D diagrams was a GameChanger for some finicky parts. It appears to be very sturdy and all of the kids are having a blast. I only needed the 2nd adult to help me attach the Swing beam to the fort and the tunnel slide (the biggest pita) to the fort, along with leveling it out. Highly recommend so far. ... show more

  • Save Your Money Buy a Rainbow
I will start by saying I gave this product 3 stars because they do deliver what they say. A flat pack play set with all of the parts. However that the best I can say about it. To start let’s begin with the assembly time. There’s some discrepancy between the printed instructions and the app one says 24hrs the other says 30hrs. Either way they did not lie it’s going to take you damn near a full time jobs worth of work to put this thing together. I say this as a skilled carpenter aka I get paid to build stuff for a living. I bought this thinking Id save time on the design side and money as I tend to over build things and the price of lumber is through the roof right now. However if you don’t already have an impact driver and a drill at a bare minimum, just pay for assembly. You’ll spend more money on a decent set of those two items alone let alone the other things you’ll really need and the time. I will second what someone else has said. Do not use the cheap screws they send with the set go ahead and buy a 5lb box of 1 1/4” and 2 1/2” exterior screws. You’ll be much happier. On to the quality of the actual set. All Of the pieces are cut correct and have gone together as planned. Unfortunately they have found the absolute cheapest lumber possible To make this out of. This is the softest lumber possible and I expect to see it cracking very shortly. Also the cheap “stain” or paint whatever it is they put on it was already flaking off during assembly I’m scared to see what it will look like in a few months. Finally as you can see in the pictures I’ve attached where the swing beam attaches to The main structure is the soft wood I described above. I expect this connection to work loose over a very short time and I’ll be finding a way to rebuild it stronger. Also due to the unit being a “flat pack” product. The swing beam is not one solid piece and there’s a small block pieced together with a bracket. Just another weak point. Overall I’m not impressed and wished I would have just bit the bullet and bought a nicer set. ... show more
