Overall it is a nice set. The kids love it. It was a pain to put together. A number of the boards had numbers which were cutoff, or unreadable. There were 2 boards present which I could not find listed anywhere in the direction packet. I was missing the flat brackets for the swings and had to improvise by picking something up at a bigbox store. There also seems to be quite a bit of extra parts which is odd, so it makes me wonder. There were also black caps which I could not find listed in directions. The slide seems to be bowed out on first bump. So I wonder if it's a structural issue. Aside from the materials issues, it's a nice set, just right in size for young kids. My only issue is that the side with swings bounces a lot more than I expected despite having 2 ground spikes that were supplied. I will probably be putting an additional support into the ground. ... show more

For something thatโ€™s over $1,000 you would THINK you would have all the parts weโ€™ve had to stop building because we are missing so much. Weโ€™re missing all swings, chalkboard, the rock wall, the anchors, and SO MUCH MORE.

It's sturdy and looks amazing. Yes, it took all day to build but it should as it is a big build and project. Everything was labeled correctly. The boards were labeled and everything was packaged in separate boxes for the different components which made it easier to build the different parts and put it together. It took 3 of us building it about 12 hours. My kid loves it and I actually have extra parts such as extra screws and such. The wood is pretreated and predrilled for a lot of the parts. first off, the kids love it. We have a 2 and 10 year old boys. This was more for the 2yo but the 10yo has enjoyed it also. The playground is sturdier than i was expecting. i climbed all over it during assembly. i am about 190# and everything held up just fine. originally, we were gonna make our own but slides are expensive by themselves and it was more cost effective to buy a bundled package. Some of the structure is smaller than i would have made it out of but holds up well. it took me and my 10yo (2) weekends to put together working most of the day on saturday and sunday afternoons. The system fit together nicely and the instruction booklet was awesome with giving the part # for the pieces and also a to-scale image of the hardware required. my wife would come and help some as well; this was very helpful with getting the roof on the system since my 10yo couldnt really help lift. We used (2) drill motors and (1) impact wrench to help speed up the process. issues: The hardware was some of the issue that we had. several bags of hardware didnt have the deck screws segregated by size and you would have all different sizes mixed together which was annoying when trying to get the correct screws installed. Some of the hardware was missing and had to make a trip to Lowe's; all out $10 for the stuff missing, which isnt so bad when you think of how many pieces are coming. overall, very pleased with product so far. if anything changes, i will update the review. Absolutely love this swing set. I searched high and low for the perfect swing set. My husband's only request was no tube slide, which was a huge bummer, but when I cam across this set, I fell in love! I went ahead and ordered extra accessories like the steering wheel and view finder, but it came with those! And two flags! The little picnic area could be a little sturdier. I tried to sit on it and was afraid it would snap, but it's perfect for my 5 yr old. They also upgraded us to the double wind surfer instead of the single one because they ran out! Not complaining here haha. One of our roof shingle pieces snapped while trying to put the roof together and the manufacturer was nice enough to send a replacement at no cost. We were also missing the big slide screws, which they are sending as well, but my husband used other similar screws for the time being. I also ordered this set specifically because it was supposed to be delivered within a week and a half from purchased. It was a scheduled the delivery. My only disappointment was when the day of delivery I was told that the set had JUST left their facility so it wouldnt be here until the next week. Thankfully, the freight company was able to deliver it during the weekend, 3 days early, and amazon was nice enough to give us a credit for the delay and lack of communication Overall, we are very happy with this set.
