I bought this umbrella with high hopes, with in a week I finally got to try it out Boy was it disappointing! Living in South florida during the rainy season you need a good large umbrella. This thing was a waste of money, the first rain I used it in a was just as wet as if I had covered myself with a towel. The water dripped right through the canopy, didn't even seem to bead. The foam handle asorbed the water that was dripping down the shaft so my hand was soaked too. I promptly returned it that day. A little bit of advice. 1. There is no UV protection so you will still feel the UV heat if you are using it for shade. 2. It leaks. Its totally not waterproof. 3. Save the box it came in until your return window is closed, its hard to find a box this size when you need to return it. ... show more

    • I am rating this for use in a golf push cart only
Just purchased and I have used this twice (already) to keep me from getting burned from the sun in the hot Texas sun using a golf push cart. The umbrella opens and closes easily and seems fine in that respect...here is what you need to know about this umbrella if used in an umbrellas holder on a golf push cart. The cushion hande is soft on this umbrella and although comfortable in your hand, the cushion does not do well in the two different golf umbrella holders in my household.....the best handle for an umbrella on a push cart (at least in the ones I have experienced) would be a solid hard handle. Hard to explain but with the two different brand golf push carts in my house, this soft handle will not last very long... Update 8/06/2021 - If you decide to use this umbrella in a push cart, here is what I would suggest you do which will make this umbrella work just fine in the umbrella holders push cart. Purchase a 1" & 1/4" plumber pvc pipe (PVC-1120) and cut it to approx 5.5" length. Then slip this over the umbrella handle which will fit snug....this is working for us with the two golf carts that we have. ... show more

    • Stuck with a broken product.

Within the first hour of use one of the supports broke as soon as it opened. Now I'm stuck with a broken umbrella cause the return locations and hours are outside of my availability and not anywhere near me. Will not recommend to anyone.

Not really 68 in... 58 in canopy plus the plastic tip , 68 with handle A sturdy umbrella... but I was under the impression that the actual canopy was 68 in.. could be my misunderstanding but “ true” golf umbrellas are bigger Deceptive to me

The main reason I got this was for the bold color pattern (black & yellow). It's extremely light and easy to carry. I like the little carry pouch it comes with that has a strap. Some of the internal beams do come out of socket from time to time but so far nothing has broken permanently. I've only had a few chances to use it since there is not much rain in my area. A more durable umbrella with metal connected parts might be a better choice. ... show more

I got the umbrella on the rainy days they go to pick up my kids from school I wanted to be able to have 3 to 4 people under one umbrella versus carrying several little ones for everybody to hold. this fits perfect. I'm able to have me both my girls(8&9) and my son(4) under 1 umbrella no need to carry multiple with you at all times.. seems to be wind proof and no one gets wet so it's a win win.. definitely would recommend ... show more

I just purchased mines and I'm writing this review, and although I dont usually review items I buy, I loved the little tag asking if I could so here I am. Opening it and looking it over, its great. My only 2 suggestions is having the stick handle look or feel sturdier? It may be really strong but to me it looks like a bland line. Maybe make the stick thicker? The handle part is good it's just the middle part of the umbrella that looks like a twig. Take that as you will. My second suggestion is while I bought my umbrella in black. It took me a minute to find the 2 straps to close it. ((I'll be better at finding it the more I use it)) Maybe if the color is black you could have the straps light black? Just so I dont take time trying to find the straps. And if its other colors maybe make it a darker or lighter color so the straps are easily found. These are just 2 things I'm noticing to make a review on but it's just my ideas on the design. Love the umbrella. ... show more

Umbrella was great right up to the one year mark when it broke. Company says they stand by their product forever, but I can’t find any way to reach out now. **UPDATE** I did find a way to reach out and MRTLLOA was very responsive.
