3 years ago, I installed a climbing rope on a large maple tree in our yard and our daughters have absolutely loved using it as a daily play activity. They were devastated when the rope broke last week, but I was able to find this product and a replacement was quickly on its way. I spent some time splicing in a loop at one end and tying knots every couple feet so that they could more easily climb up and down the rope, and it went up with much rejoicing. The heat shrink on the ends of the rope do a good job keeping the strands from fraying, but the one on the bottom of our rope soon fell off (or was removed by a kid) and was lost, so don't rely on them to stay on if your application is like mine.     • Strong Rope as advertised!
The media could not be loaded. I’m gonna be using the rope on our pier around a post or two to give a nautical look but also serve a purpose for when when docking boats they can safely be tied down against the rope and not get scratched up. This rope would also be good for hooking up and towing a vehicle that may be broken down or stuck in the mud. I highly recommend ... show more
