The absence of sulfates and parabens is a big plus. The shampoo does not wash out the color and leaves the hair soft and silky. Zinc Pyrithione in the composition gently eliminates dandruff without aggressively affecting the skin. The smell is unobtrusive, but fresh. And it doesn't have the medicine smell of other dandruff shampoos. It has a light scent that isn't overpowering so my hair just smells like my normal conditioner I use afterward.
