I absolutely love this sewing kit. I got this mostly for fixing small tears or rips, and sewing on buttons. I love that it has everything you could possibly need in one place, and you can easily keep everything together in this handy little zippered bag. Finally I can stop worrying about losing things. Also love all the different colors it comes with, and it is easy to take along with you, to the office or to travel. All items appear to be sturdy, and made of good quality. I will definitely be using this a lot and it will be so handy to have. There are also 30 needles in different thicknesses, so you should definitely find a matching one for whatever you're needing it for. About my only gripe is that there isn't a lot of thread on the spools, I wish there was a little bit more. Otherwise I highly recommend this, it is perfect, and the price point matches. I had just moved and everything was packed, so I bought this to fix a button that fell off and hem some pants. By only complaint is some of the thread is wound so tight, you can’t find the loose end, so I can’t use it. Black was like that for me. But so far the others colors I needed were ok. The only thing I can say as a downside is that the case is very cheaply made and the zipper broke off immediately after unpackaging the kit. This is a good, very basic sewing kit that has all the essential items needed to make emergency repairs. The threads are all rather thin, but will do the job for a quick repair, sewing a button on, etc.
