Please don't worry.2.Before using the sponge, please soak it for about 1-2 hours and squeeze out the water. Then making the sponge wet with the clean water. 3.Soaking the seeds for several hours to make them drink enough water. 4.Germination for most seeds should be keep away from the light. But they compress the sponge down to the size of a small potato and then wrap it in several layers of packing tape. It is VERY difficult to open without damaging the germination product itself.     • Could not get seeds to grow with these sponges.
I have a Vegebox hydroponic garden and needed sponges to for seed starting. These were no good. They never really soaked up the water so they floated on top, resulting in a lack of water on the seeds. I’ve tried twice now, with multiple different seeds and have not been able to get anything to start growing. Very disappointed and looking for something else now. ... show more

This came completely bunched up and wrapped in duct tape over and over. Looked like an illegal package trying to be transported. Not sure how I’m going to get these to stay in place or hold any seeds.

    • Waste of money!! They don't work!!
Horrible product. Came rolled up as tight as can be in a ball. That wasn't the issue. The issue was that the material didn't absorb the water and I had several attempts to start seeds and they never grew. Don't buy!!!

It was rolled up so tight , the package was the size of a tennis ball. After it took cutting the tape to finally get it open part of the sponges are yellow and look old and the 100!pieces won’t even flatten out. Complete waste of money.

Came completely wrapped tightly with tape and we’re unusable for days. When I used them, they allow a ridiculous amount of algae to form. Avoid these sponges completely.
