The chessboard is very nice. The men are descent in size, but don't expect artwork. Larger than modt boards (as desired). Men are about 0.5" larger than tbe cheapest sets (again as desired). I would buy again.

This wood used for this chess board is beautiful. The pieces are made of beautiful wood. The hidden storage space has the pieces secure with elastic so no lost pieces and really for the next game. The same goes for the checkers game. It’s beautiful!!!
