Frankly, I don't know the charge rate, but what I do know is that it's next to my bed and I place my iPhone 15 on top of it when I go to bed at night. Hubs and I both have iPhones - this was the first time we ventured into the mag safe part. We got 2 of these to charge on our nightstands at night. They work great! Our bedside lamps have USB ports, which we plugged right into. By the way, we like the option to use USB-C if/when we need it, and the USB cap is attached to a tether so it won't get lost. The phones stick to the magnet well and charge up fine. The cord length is almost 5' and plenty long enough for us since it's plugged into our lamp - if you have to go to a wall plug, I'd measure and/or plan on using a USB or USB-C extension if needed. My charger just quit working last night and when I hopped on Amazon to purchase another it informed me I bought this one in June of 2022 which means it lasted me exactly 2 years! Very impressive. It does sometimes get warm when charging but the magnetic strength is very strong. Easy to use. I got the blue color and it matched my phone beautifully. I do like this product it does charge my phone, but not fast enough. It takes hrs for it to get up to a decent percentage and while it is in use the charge takes longer and even drops 1% at a time the longer it’s on so I have to refrain from playing YouTube or anything to allow it to go up.     • Disappointing and Unreliable Wireless Charger

I was really expecting good things from the JSAUX Magnetic Wireless Charger, but using it has been very disappointing. Right after I opened the box, there were many problems that made me wish I had not bought it. Firstly, saying there is "perfect alignment" is very funny. Even with the strong magnets they talk about, my iPhone 14 often slipped off the charging pad if I moved it just a little bit. This was very bothersome at night when I wanted to charge my phone without any issues. But instead, I woke up many times and saw that my phone was only partly charged because it had moved off the charging pad. For me, portability and easy use were very important selling reasons. But the multi-port cable that comes with it is more trouble than help. The cable is too short to really be useful, and needing to buy the power adapter separately just adds extra hassle I don't need. Why not include a compatible adapter if it’s essential for optimal performance? Talking about how it works, this charger gets hot very fast. Even though it has a "smart protection" feature that should stop charging if the battery becomes too warm, my phone often still got really hot and uncomfortable to touch. This make me worry about possible damage to battery and also mean charging speed slow down very much. To get 80% take more time than it should, so fast charger not do its job well. Lastly, the 18-month warranty and "24/7 friendly client consultation" did not feel as comforting as they promised. When I reached out to customer service with my worries, they gave me standard replies that didn't really solve the real issues I had. I had feeling they prefer to dismiss me rather than really help me. In short, the JSAUX Magnetic Wireless Charger did not meet most expectations. It often does not work well, gets too hot, and has poor customer support. I think you should look to other options for a better wireless charging solution. Avoid the trouble and choose a brand with better reputation instead. ... show more
