I immediately loved these. They have a good weight to them and the linen fabric looks high quality after the captains are steamed. Plus they are truly black out curtains. I put them up on a warm 86F degree California day in a corner room that gets sun ALL day with huge windows on two of the walls and the room instantly felt a few degrees cooler, which is so impressive and the primary reason for ordering these. I also wanted to add some neutral natural tones to my room, which is were these curtains failed me. I ordered the w linen and these aren’t even close to what is pictured. They look like the light beige (which does not look beige at all in the photo but looks light grey). Basically these look light grey. If the sun hits them, they appear slightly closer to the linen color. I won’t return them because they still match my decor, I already hung them up, and I have no idea what the other colors will look like and I don’t want to risk getting a color that doesn’t match at all. These are great just keep in mind you may need to order various colors to look at them in person and see which ones fit your color scheme. I posted photos a proof of how off the color is from linen. Other than color, these are great. They are sewn nicely and have reinforced stitching in the loops. They have clean strait lines (unlike my last cheap curtains that puckered and looked wavy along the edges). I ran my nails across them a few times and they did not snag, which is great. These curtains are really good quality and are totally blocking out some serious sunlight right now. I just took them out of the package, hung them up about 10 minutes ago and my room has already cooled down 10 degrees. I am so pleasantly surprised and pleased, I just ordered two more sets. Looks and feels luxurious. Perfect for blocking out light. My only complaint is the amount of time needed to steam it so it’s wrinkle free but maybe that’s common for all these types of curtains.

It feels a bit thicker than most store bought curtains but only midly so. Regardless it makes a difference as these actually help dim out sound a bit besides the light more so than other low cost store brands.
