I can't begin to tell you how important it is when I purchase anything that's techie that it is simple and easy to put together and set up. Nothing frustrates me more than a complicated piece of technology. One thing I like about this baby monitor is that the camera's swivel movement is outstanding, and the camera "pans" into the room/objects suitable; it also doesn't make a weird noise when it moves like other cameras in the past! And the five-inch screen is the perfect size for me. The two-way sound is clear and sounds nice and loud. I like All the simple aspects of the control panel. I don't mind that it's not Wi-Fi. It's one less thing to connect to my home Wi-Fi. When I turn on the control panel, I love the instructions that it shows me. It's constructive for me to navigate step-by-step. I've owned over 5 baby monitors and this one is the best one I've owned! The screen is large and very clear. Not only that, it is super duper user friendly. I read the manual before using it; however, no manual is necessary because all instructions and functionalities of the buttons are listed and shown on the LCD screen (see photos). This baby monitor has the capacity to use with more than just one camera and the screen is so large that both can be viewed at the same time on the monitor! There's a vox feature, lullaby, and more. I like that there are actual mechanical buttons and it isn't just digital so it's highly responsive. Battery life is good. I spent the last week using this baby monitor and here is what I found. Camera Pros: The camera is reasonably sized, sleek, and has fantastic range. You are able to scan left to right almost completely around and up and down. This was helpful getting the correct angle to look in on my little one, which is something I have struggled with while traveling and having to set the camera up wherever I could find a space. The camera was effortless to set up and I haven’t had any issues with it at all. Camera Cons: I found the quality of the feed to be less than advertised. There was a curtain in the frame, and the camera seemed to be focusing more on that than the crib my child was in. The pixels while the lights were out jumped around a bit, and it was difficult at times to tell if it was simply background or my child moving. The room I set this up in had limited outlets, so the camera was completely across the room from my child’s crib and that could have had an impact. Monitor Pros: The view screen is large and allows you to see everything you want to without moving the camera. The monitor docking station works great and the unit sits easily exactly where it needs to while charging. I only used the one camera, but I like how you can use 1 monitor for multiple cameras, and the directions pop up each time you power the monitor on. The thing I liked the best was the range of this. I had no interruption in my connection through my entire trip, which included walking around a large condo with multiple walls between the monitor and camera. The monitor has an antenna on it, which I never even put up. The monitor also has a lot of features if someone wanted to use them. Monitor Cons: I found the monitor for this to be huge. Like 90s cell phone feel huge. I actually laughed when I pulled it out of the box, because I didn’t see how this monitors clunky feel matched with the sleek easy-to-use camera. The monitor takes a long time to charge (3+ hours) and the battery life was a bit erratic. My first charge lasted over 3 nights which was fantastic, but the next charge depleted in the middle of the night on the second use. My last con for this monitor is that the temperature sensor was off. My thermostat was set for 71 degrees F, and the monitor consistently read 10 degrees less than that. Also, it’s worth noting that the display for the monitor does not have a clock on it. ... show more

Good for anyone who want to keep monitoring baby. It has quite good quality for the price and works well. Picture quality is okay, not that great, but enough to just keep eye. The only reason this got 4 stars is because the video quality could be better compared to the other ones I use in the house. That said, the size of the screen and functions and especially the range make this a great buy for the price. I also would have liked to see a usb c port with this one but it uses the old style cord. I have been frustrated with other baby monitors because of the range and signal strength, I find some of them having difficulty sending signals across walls. No issues with this one. Signal went through multiple walls and continued to transmit. The problem I have and what gives me pause in purchasing more units is the video quality. The signal strength and video quality are more important to me than any of the other functions/bells and whistles. It's too blurry for my liking. However, if you only need a monitor to see the location of your child and hear sounds, this is a really good buy for the price. I however prefer to see as much detail as possible, I will check to see if the company offers a high-res version that is compatible with this one. Other than the above, recommend. ... show more
