The portability is the best aspect of this system. It sounds okay; clear mids and highs but lacks low end punch. I would recommend for vocal PA, live blues/jazz music, karaoke gigs. I suggest pairing this system with a subwoofer to carry the low notes. Not powerful enough for professional use but it has professional features. This works very well for what I needed if for. If you are performing in a room that sit 50-75 people this is the product for you. I haven’t used it in a larger setting yet. But I’m sure it would be work fine for a room that sets 100 people. I really wouldn’t try it in a room any larger. Be sure to play with it a day before you use it to figure out your settings. I purchased this to do some street busking with my guitar. I was super excited. I couldn’t wait to get out and start playing on the streets. It arrived.. I grabbed it. plugged it in. I plugged my guitar in. I plugged in my backing tracks in.. I was so excited and then; NO SOUND!!WTF!!. It turns on, but nothing comes out of it. I read the reviews Afterwards, they said the same thing kind of sad because they sell this at guitar center. so I figured it had to be a good product.. this is the second thing that I’ve ordered off Amazon, That was delivered today and doesn’t work . I don’t know if they’re sending Amazon garbage, but two electronics that I’ve purchased from Amazon for faster shipping came today and neither one of them worked..errr! I should have purchased from guitar Center . I’ll be purchasing from guitar Center from here on out. this does not work. and I purchased it from Amazon. don’t waste your money with Amazon! I love the convenience, portability, simple setup. Build quality is so-so, and the nylon enclosures feel as if they would easily break with moderate impact. Built-in echo effect is a nice addition. The mic / instrument inputs have two-band EQ, but unfortunately the MP3 input does not. I used an adapter cable (1/8" on one end for my laptop output, to split 1/4" plugs) to feed mixer channels 3-4 inputs. At least this gave me some EQ by splitting right and left. However, for my tastes this thing requires a subwoofer to be acceptable. The good news is there's a monitor output to drive it. ... show more

we use it for a little league baseball PA system, so it doesn't need to be pro quality sound. But it packs a punch in our outdoor field setting and easy setup and takedown. Well worth the $!
