This item is not at all what I expected. It doesn't sound like 300 watts and definitely not 250 RMS. It feels cheap but it does get loud. If you don't mind not having a speaker with not much bass (no lows at all) this speaker is perfect for you. I love for my speakers to capture all bass frequencies so that I can feel and hear them, this speaker does not so if you're a bass head that loves booming bass...you WILL NOT want this speaker. A lot of choices, I’ve owned many Pyle products over the years. This is a good size not heavy, doesn’t take up too much space. Not a subwoofer but has good full sound. It’s loud, can’t say 300watts, that’s always exaggerated. I just hope it lasts, can’t comment battery life, looks are enough, nice to have a switch to turn off the neon lights-I don’t need that. FM radio is difficult to use with bad reception. Haven’t used the remote yet with this rush review 🔇 ... show more

Before I start bashing this speaker, I will say that the sound quality is not terrible and it does connect to my phone rather quickly. That being said, when you first turn it on it will LOUDLY announce the mode that it's in, and also announce that it is connected if you're using bluetooth. I say "LOUD" because it tells you at full volume and it's quite startling. The battery life is terrible: it lasted for two hours on 3/4 volume with no lights, and to add insult to injury, the charging cord is only 3 feet long, so there's really no portability once the battery dies. The remote works, just poorly, only when aimed directly at the middle of the speaker, and from no further than 6 feet away. Not worth the hassle of returning, but I expected more, especially from a "Made in USA" company. Overall, I wish I would've just spent a little more money and gotten a name brand from BestBuy or Walmart. ... show more

Second Bluetooth light up style speaker I have bought through Amazon, as my kids keep borrowing them and not returning them! Chose this as it was small in size and very basic- use once or twice a month, so nothing fancy is needed! The sound is acceptable, not as good as a larger unit but for the price I figured it was good enough. Keeps a charge for a very short period of time when using the Bluetooth, (and does not work very well when using the USB plug-in from my phone (staticky) ). I charge it after each use due to the short time it stays charged. However, The super flimsy charging port, which is in the front of the unit, (super strange…) “Fell into“ the speaker. Unable to plug it into charge it now, so now once the unit is dead, it is trash! I think an item that only gets used maybe once or twice a month would hold up a little bit better than this. If your charging port lasts, it is a decent speaker for the money. ... show more
