    • These things are worth the money
I run a business that we use a PA system from time to time, as some of the people who hire us do not have one and it is a nice add for us to be able to play music at their events and have ways for the host to make announcements. But I have had some inquiries about some larger events and if i could get more sound. I was using a pair of Proreck speakers for the purpose and they were great so I was willing to give these a try. These things do not disappoint. I have had them set up and you can hear crystal clear from 200+ feet. Are these "professional" gear that a band is going to haul on the road for gigs? Maybe not, but this is a fraction of the cost of that type of setup. Honestly, I would think if someone were starting out as a DJ or something, if you had a decent premix setup, you could use these for stuff like that....I know I have heard worse sounding equipment at weddings and such. You get a very powerful setup that does set up and break down and store pretty nice. I have one tote for the array speakers and poles, and all the cables, then the two sub bases. So setup and teardown is quick. Bluetooth works great, but there are also a lot of inputs to improve sound by using direct cables for your feed. If/When the time comes to get something additional (even if my wife disagrees😊) I will definitely consider ProReck again ... show more

    • This is an excellent sound system for the price
This sound system is a very solid and well built product. The shipping is very fast. It has a great sound quality and holds up well performance wise. This is a loud well matched system as far as bass and audio. Customer service is very quick to respond if you have any questions. I've used it for 2 DJ gigs and 2 Karaoke gigs and recieved nothing but praise for the way it sounds.. I just ordered the spx 18" powered sub woofer to help Complement the 2 15" subs. Buy this setup if your looking to get great sound at a reasonable price. I would definitely buy from proreck again. You will be pleased. Hands down one of the best sound systems out there. Had a problem with the powered sub crackling. Seller took care of issue right away and sent me a new unit. Only thing better would be to have an on board eq for the top speakers to scoop a little boxiness out of them without affecting the sub. I would buy again. They are loud and pretty clean sounding ... show more

    • The SMELL IS TERRIBLE
I waited months (clearly) before sending this review in hopes that the smell would go away. I thought my son was being dramatic when he kept complaining of the smell. I assumed it was maybe because he left them closed up in his truck too long or that there maybe he wasn’t telling me everything, like maybe someone vomited all over them at a party or something…. Naw. One sniff of the boxes they came in and I almost vomited myself. We told him to take them to his house and maybe air them out on the patio for a while. Nope. Visitors actually asked if there was a dead animal in his house. He moved them to a shed in his back yard and they have been there all summer “airing out”. He loaded them up to take back to school and the smell has soaked into the interior of his truck. His buddy wasn’t prepared when he got in his car and almost lost his lunch. It’s absolutely disgusting and like no smell I have ever smelled. It crossed my mind if a disgruntled employee of the manufacturer possibly wanted to sabotage the company and maybe put a dead animal in the speakers just for ish and giggles (cause whose gonna track down someone across the globe, right?). We cant find any trace of “foul” play but for sanity and health reasons, we are looking for a dump sight to take this whole set up to and PPE to wear doing so. 🙏 ... show more

    • This thing is LOUD!
I used this to Dj a 75th birthday party with various style of music (salsa, reggaetón, dance, soul, disco, slow dinner music, etc) and it all sounded great. The sound equals powered speakers worth thousands. It is very easy to set up. The bluetooth feature helped to get music going right away while I set up the rest of equipment. The only odd thing is that the subwoofers have this odd smell (I can only compare it to a fish smell) that I am thinking eventually will dissipate. For less than $700, you just cannot beat it!
