  • Definitely not a Peloton, but solid quality, and excellent customer service to my surprise.
I'm a pretty thorough researcher and this bike had just about everything I need. It is heavy and sturdy for sure. Here are a couple of things to consider: Pros: Customer service was excellent. Yes, they are in China, but they never took more than one work shift (24 business hours) to get back to me, in clear understandable English. Seat is plush and not to hard on the backside. Tablet holder is great - I plop my laptop right on there and watch whatever videos I want while biking (YouTube has some nice 1st-person view bike rides that help with the monotony). Cons: My data readout monitor (LCD display) came not working well (difficult to read digits, making it useless). The good thing though was the customer service was fantastic and sent me another one for free and that one works well. The resistance clamp/brake is a little flimsy and the brake pad is not perfectly concentric, so the friction applied is not consistent, thus making for a little bit of an annoying periodic rub noise (that I believe others have alluded to here), but it is adjustable so did my best to adjust it and minimize that. One other thing of note, and this is the case with all bikes, both stationary and real I would guess, the handle bars are a bit narrow, so it may not be comfortable on the hands if biking any significant length of time. I purchased some adhesive straps, like you would buy for a tennis racket or a baseball bat grip to help beef/pad them up a bit and now they feel great. I would recommend this bike, especially for the pricepoint. ... show more

  • Resistance knob broke after two month, but was relatively easily fixed
Update in June 2021: The vendor contacted me immediately after I filed the complain. They asked me to send more photos and videos to diagnose the problem: it was a bad resistance screw. So the vendor sent me the replacing parts and detailed video instructions to fix it. The fixing was quite easy and the result was satisfying. The bike worked well ever since! So i now give it four stars. Great customer service and communication, but obviously quality controls needs improvement. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Resistance knob broke after two months! I got this bike on Jan 19 2021 and it broke today March. 4, 2021. The resistance knob stopped functioning completely and without it, this thing is a windmill. The resistance knob does not need assembly so no way I messed it up myself during assembly process. The knob has been heavy and cranky from the beginning but I thought it may get better after use. However it only gets heavier and heavier and completely broken today. I use the bike three times a week, 30 minutes each time, nothing crazy. Only poor quality could explain what happen. And the assembly process was time consuming and effort taking. Now it’s completely useless and I don’t even know if I can get my money back! ... show more

  • Joroto Belt Driven Exercise Bike
Pros: We love this bike! Super quiet, cannot hear it at all! Very sturdy and small enough that it does not take up much space. It weighs 100 pounds so not a light weight. Comes together except for the handlebars, seat & stand for the bike to sit on. The two little wheels in the front are inadequate for the weight of the bike. We ended up picking it up to move it around, a workout in itself! Lol Cons: putting the above mentioned pieces on! Stand & Seat pieces pretty easy; now let’s talk about the handlebars! Most miserable experience I’ve had; Sorry Engineers but the design stinks! It’s heavy, unwieldy, no room to attach the pieces with even a modicum of finger space & the screws are super slippery! I truly wanted to heave it across the room a number of times before my daughter, myself & Jesus finally got it together! Once we finally got it on We loved the bike. I actually had to resort to bungees to hold it together while we struggled with the screws! Tip for putting the handlebars on: put the two bottom screws in first, then wrap bungees & stretch from the “handlebars” to the back of the seat to hold the bars up enough to “pray”the other two screws in! Then say a heartfelt prayer of thanks! 🙏 Included a picture of our bike, it’s lovely. Incidentally, I am 74 & my daughter is 54. So it can be done with more than a little perseverance! ... show more

  • Great Introductory Bike BUT Found I Needed More
Did a bunch of research and found this deal to be a great starter point for a stationary bike. The bike arrived about 2 weeks after purchase, was relatively easy to put together, and feels solid once assembled. Pros: Adjustable stabilizers under the front and rear supports. Sturdy handlebars have space for the included computer + tablet holder. 1 yr manufacturer warranty included. Computer shows RPM to keep up with cadence; also runs on 2 AAA batteries so you're able to put the bike anywhere. Adjustable seat: up/down and forward/backward. Cons: have to pay +/- $50 to return product (subtracted from refund amount ... after figuring out how to repack it all.) Seat is super cushioned which isn't the best for extended time on the bike. The resistance knob feels weak and I feel like multiple turns were required to effect any change. Felt pad needs regular maintenance with lubrication (understandably assumed with the purchase.) Foot cages are rigid plastic and feel like they could easily break if you accidentally step on the outside of them; the straps to secure cages to feet require both hands to adjust tension ... not the easiest to do while on the bike. Computer is not backlit so you always have to have a light on to monitor output; RPM (cadence) rotates between RPM and speed which keeps you looking at the computer waiting for RPM to show back up (not a huge deal but I found it annoying.) Suggestions: Could use a second water bottle holder (but understand most only have one.) Pedals could easily be modified to include usability with clip ins on the under side of the pedal instead of having to buy replacement pedals. ... show more
