Excellent sturdy tripod. A great second fiddle for your Manfrotto. Minus the head that has no pan or tilt bar/handle. So do yourself a favor. Keep the tripod body, lose the the original head and pick up a nice replacement head with a pan & tilt bar, you'll thank yourself for it.

I've always had tri-pods that were a bit lacking on the height side. This one doesn't have that problem. It gets well over where I'm comfortable taking photos standing at 6'2". Use this to hold my Z6II and Sigma 150-600 sport (monster of a lens). It's nice that it comes with two arcaswiss adapters one for the body and one for my sigma sport lens. Collapses and folds nicely to strap to my sling bag for easy access. I do wish that the leg latches inspired a bit more confidence, but I'm not going to complain by any means. Get it and use it. Didn't think the value was there so I returned it. I have tripods and this is a great one, just pricey for having the mono pod option. Would buy if I got bigger heavier lenses or my other two tripods needed replacing.

For the price, this is an incrediblebly good tripod for a still camera or a video with little to no camera movement. Very sturdy, very well designed. I like that a leg detaches to be a monopod if needed. It folds up much smaller than tripods I had in the past. It is tall enough to get over a crowd's heads. This should last several lifetimes. The only problem with it is it's levels are very cheap, but I don't use them so I don't care. ... show more

Well built easy to use with plenty of height to get those hard to reach shots. The mono-pod is easy to use its great for nature hikes and works well as a walking stick too. All the aluminum legs are sturdy and do not flex easily they have a good rigid feeling and they lock securely independently. The ball head has a rugged feel and supports a fair amount of weight hanging off of it, having some long heavy lenses with a large camera body with extended battery pack feels totally secure. Its not a fluid head however it operates smoothly enough for those panning shots and locks in secure for those long exposures and does not feel like it would blow over with a gust of wind. Its got some weight to it so it feels very rugged and sturdy, for myself I have no problems with the extra weight. I'd much rather feel secure with thousand of dollars in equipment attached to it then feeling like it may topple over or collapse with large glass on top of it. I'm very happy with the purchase, quality and design and would recommend it if your looking for a rugged tripod-monopod setup. ... show more

UPDATE 5/4/23: The company was super helpful in getting this resolved! They sent me a new tripod and it works as it should. I waited until I had used it for a few shoots before typing this update. Now that I have a working model I can see myself using this for a very long time. It is sturdy and well thought out. Original Review: This tripod feels sturdy and I wanted to love it. The problem was, I could not get the ball head level. Well, I could but it never said that it WAS level. So, I put a shoe level on my camera and low and behold one of the tripods' legs is manufactured shorter than the others. Once I found out I wasn't losing my mind I could step back a good bit and visually see the shorter leg. Unfortunately the item has to be returned. ... show more
