But as far as masks go, this is absolutely hands down the best I have tried. It smells SO GOOD and your hair feels as soft as silk after you use it. It tones incredibly. I prefer to leave it on from 5-10 minutes. I find I get the best performance from it that way. The price point is just as incredible as the performance. I have extremely minimal experience doing hair, and after a few bleach trials I ended up with the first picture. After one wash with this purple shampoo, we have here the second picture! I left the shampoo on for 8 mins, I had a ten minute timer set but my hair started feeling really stripped after 8 so I rinsed and used the blue conditioner that came with the bleach kit I used. I’m not sure why this shampoo made my hair feel more damaged than after bleaching my hair twice, but it’s the day after and my hair is feeling better after using some other products to try to revive some moisture. I am excited to keep using this shampoo, carefully, and to see even more results! I think leaving it on past 5 mins is entering the danger zone, so I would suggest not exceeding 5 mins the first time and see how your hair feels after! The pictures results are before/after only 1 use! I purchased this product on recommendation of my sister. My hair is naturally dark brown and I started to grey at 25. My hair is about 50% grey right now. I tried multiple brown boxed dyes and natural products that left my hair just as many different colors and very dry. So, I decided to go blond and try to fade the grey. Because of the previous dyes my hair turned orange, green and blue when the stylist stripped it. She was able to get out all of the other colors but the orange refused to strip even with salon grace violet she put in. Two weeks later the orange was as bright as ever and I decided to try this product. Because the orange was so bright I assumed it would take 5-6 uses to notice any real difference so I took pictures before I used it so I could feel better about the incremental change. I was wrong and truly shocked! After using this product only 1 time (leaving the purple in 5 min or so) the results were night and day different. I am thrilled!! I’ve continued using the product until the shade is very close to what I originally wanted and could not recommend this product more strongly! As with all things, make sure to talk to your stylist before using this if you have very treated hair just to ensure you don’t melt it. 😄 I am a life-long fan! ... show more
