I’m new to doing my nails. I have gotten done professionally very rarely (expensive) and then whenever I use non-gel polish at home, it just doesn’t last. I haven’t used it yet, but this kit really has everything you need to get started. I got it on a great deal too, under $30! I love that the UV light is big enough to use for your toes. The color options are great. I did end up buying instant cuticle remover, nail dehydrator, primer, and electric nail file separately. For newbies like me, you’ll need to have acetone on hand too. The nail stickers I got were different then what was in the picture, but I actually like what I got way better. The bottles are also tiny, but I expected that. The colors are pretty, but the bottles are very small. If you plan on doing long nails- I’d either buy a set with larger colors, or buy multiple sets of the same colors. It’s easy to put on BUT if you want them to look like an adult did them- make sure you have a brush and remover to clean them up BEFORE they are cured. My first set looked like a child did them (user error) and so I wore them for a day, and took them off. It took an hour and a half to get them off, I tried soaking in acetone- that didn’t work! I tried filing the top coat off, then soaking- that helped weaken them but didn’t take them off. I had to pick them off after they were softer. I HIGHLY recommend an electric file to remove these. They dry/cure quickly and STRONG. Easy to apply, but definitely make sure you like them before curing. Top coat SEALS them tight. ... show more

I absolutely love this kit. I wanted to do my own nails because I did my calculations and if I get my nails done twice a month for 12m, im spending $2400, then I slowed down and only went once a month, that cut it down to $1200, which ive gone to the same lady for over 6 years, i basically paid for her shop, lol. I told my husband if I do my own nails, I'll save that money and put it in my Roth IRA. I'll still get my nails done professionally but just not every month. Also, I have a 5 year old and I do her nails too, it's our bonding time. I love the colors, the bottles are small but it's more than enough. Definitely a great LED set. ... show more

this is my first set of gel nail polish i have ever bought. it is a great starter set because of the price and quantity, KEEP IN MIND THE SIZE!!! they are tiny bottles! one bottle may be only have enough color gel to do 3 maybe 4 manicures! but considering the set comes with TWENTY colors, its pretty good. the colors are very vibrant and bold! The brush is very easy to control! It dies well but It really needs a top coat or the color gel feels like it will come off easily. it comes with a base coat, top coat, and matte top coat. they look like pro gel when I am wearing it! I tried a french manicure and it turned out sooooo well! (keep in mind that I am a beginner!) I do have two main concerns though, 1. the polish only lasted 2 maybe 3 days before it started chipping. ( though I may have out of habit picked at my nails a little bit!) and 2. It peels off in water. Yes, I know that it says that it comes off in water but I just wanted to draw attention to this fact. so for these reasons it probably is not a good idea to use these gel polishes professionally, or if you are in the food industry. it is super easy to use so i highly recommend it for beginners, teens, and kids (with adult supervision of course!) Worth your money!! Comes with all the colors you need to get started. Easy directions (manicure, base coat, 2-3x color, top coat). Cures really fast, saved me hundreds doing it at home. The bottles are small but they can get you very far. I ran out of the white very fast since I used it the most. I take it everywhere with me if I don’t have time to do my nails at home I’ll bring it to my bfs house (the led light is lightweight because it’s just the base and the plug). I’m a former nail tech and I wish Amazon sold this type of stuff back in the day because I would’ve worked from home along time ago instead of at a salon. Back then I’m you couldn’t get access to any of this stuff without a license and even the hole in the walls would give you a hard time purchasing products. This is great for a diy person and professionals. In my opinion, the gel lasts very long but of course not as long as the name brand stuff but who cares when it’s 2-3 weeks time. The product seems thinner compared to gelish, or OPI etc again gets the job done :) ... show more

I have used this product a few times now and still absolutely love it! The process is simple, and the product is easy to use. I love having my nails done but certainly do not like paying for them! This is a much cheaper option for consistently having your nails looking fresh. It comes with lots of tools to clean and prepare your nails as well as plenty of color options to choose from. It also comes with the UV light which works great on sealing the gel! This kit has made it enjoyable to do my own nails again! ... show more

This product is good overall, I would say it took me a few times to really get the process of how to do it down. But, once I did, the nails seemed to stay on a lot better and longer! The UV light works GREAT! Quality is good! Lots of nail polish, only downside is the size of the bottles are little. But, you have a ton of colors to choose from! You have a polish finish or a matte finish, which was super cool! It has been a lot cheaper than going to the nail salon to get my nails done when I can do it in the comfort of my own home!
