I'm so glad I got this kit. First of all, the light thing is big. I had a different one but it was narrower and shorter and I was always afraid I would hit my nails going in. This one, no problem! Also it has tons of lights inside, that light is getting EVERYWHERE. I feel this light cures better than my previous one. The colors of polish are beautiful. I really loved this gel kit. I initially bought it for my self, it comes with everything and has such pretty colors. I used it on my daughter as she loves getting her nails and toes done. Im new to doing my own gel polish. I really like this set. Easy to use, beautiful colors. I pick at my nail color quite often so I have a tendency to peel this off within a few days. Doesn't seem to damage my nails when I do pick it off. Love the colors. I cant remember what the directions say but I cure for 90 secs in between each coat. ... show more

this is my first set of gel nail polish i have ever bought. it is a great starter set because of the price and quantity, KEEP IN MIND THE SIZE!!! they are tiny bottles! one bottle may be only have enough color gel to do 4 maybe 5 manicures depending on how much you use and if you do multiple coats! but considering the set comes with TWENTY colors, its pretty good. the colors are very vibrant and bold! The brush is very easy to control! It dies well but It really needs a top coat or the color gel feels like it will come off easily. it comes with a base coat, top coat, and matte top coat. they look like pro gel when I am wearing it! I tried a french manicure and it turned out sooooo well! (keep in mind that I am a beginner!) I do have two main concerns though, 1. the polish only lasted 2 maybe 3 days before it started chipping. ( though I may have out of habit picked at my nails a little bit!) and 2. It peels off in water. Yes, I know that it says that it comes off in water but I just wanted to draw attention to this fact. so for these reasons it probably is not a good idea to use these gel polishes professionally, or if you are in the food industry. it is super easy to use so i highly recommend it for beginners, teens, and kids (with adult supervision of course!) Honestly a really great starter kit. It comes with everything you need, including clippers, files, cuticle pusher, cuticle cutter and sooo many colors about 60 total including the top and base coat. The bottles of polish are small but I like it because you have so many options so you can play. It has a good amount of neutrals and solids, plus one holo glitter and even a matte top coat which I’m excited to try. Let me first say, I was well aware that you get what you pay for. I figured the bottles would be of similar size to other brands I’ve purchased from Amazon. They appear to be significantly smaller. So be aware of that. I’m also not a fan of the packaging. That is why I’m giving three stars. All that said, this little set is perfect for what I intended it for. I was hesitant to purchase this kit because it seemed to good to be true, however I am super happy with it. I have a hard time getting nail polish to stay on even a day or so and this is staying put. I was surprised at the very small nail polish bottles but there are so many colors it will take along time to use them all. Love all the colors it came with. The nail grooming tools are great no complaints for the low cost. The UV light is super simple to use. I would definitely recommend this kit for a price lower than a simple manicure. The only con is I don't see where I can get a replacement nail gel color when I run out of my favorites. ... show more

I bought this about a month ago and have so far done 5 manicures with it. Fairly easy to use and for me, lasts about 5-6 days. The dark colors are harder to get perfect but if you go slowly it works better. Lots of variety in the colors. Yes, the bottles are tiny but there's lots of them so I"m ok with that.
