I have never worked with paper forms before. I do DIY gel nails on myself and these forms were affordable and easy to use. I am so glad I bought them. I used them with Modelones builder gel to create a structured nail and my nails look great. The gel itself was a little runny, so when I tried to clean it up with a brush and alcohol, the pink bled a little, but I think that's perhaps more a fault of the gel and not the forms. The guide lines on the forms aren't all straight, but they're close enough that it doesn't matter much. You can see in my picture that they are ever-so-slightly off centered. The forms are made with a thick, sturdy material and good quality adhesive so they stick properly, but are also easy to remove. These are very nice sturdy nail forms to form your acrylic or gel nails with the length is very long so you can go short to long all on one form the tabs stick together very well and because of the shape it fits your nail beds, much nicer and tighter. The forms give the nails a beautiful shape, however they lose adhesion when placing the nail under UV/LED light to cure polygel. Also, they lose adhesion when applying the alcohol to polygel while building onto the forms. It's just a bit problematic, but I was still able to build a gorgeous set of nails with these forms.
