I will be adding a few of these packets to my hiking backpack and all of my first aid kits at home and in cars. Lidocaine is a topical anesthetic and it works well against burns, insect bites, sunburns, and chafing. Super useful to have these on vacation or at the beach. You can throw a couple of these in the glove box as well for an insect bite. The lidocaine is a gentle topical anesthetic which quiets the pain of a sunburn or even a sting. It is a good thing to try if cortisone cream isn't working on an insect bite to take away the itch. These mini burn gel packets are so convenient to toss in your purse or car or desk drawer . There is the right amount of gel in each packet so there is no waste . You get 160 packets in a cardboard case . I like that it has aloe vera in it which is a very good for burns .

2 weeks ago I forgot I had just turned on my top stove and it hadn’t gotten red yet but within 15 seconds I forgot and decided to level it out and burned my hand but not to bad but did leave 3 circular light burn marks. I had nothing but an ice pack that I kept switching out because once ice pack was removed it burned/stung as if it was on fire. I saw this burn gel and said next burn I will be well prepared so I hurried up and got this burn gel. I’m not looking forward to anymore burns but I’m good at burning myself so I hope these will come in handy at my next burn event. So wish I had these 2 weeks ago. I have a bad habit of accidentally burning myself in the kitchen, and as soon as one heals I usually have another scorch or two on my hands in a short time. This gel is great for soothing the burn immediately, numbing the pain, and helping the skin to heal quickly.
