I ordered these curtains since I needed semi-privacy for my bathroom. I was surprised when I opened the packaging how thick and well made these curtains are for the price point. Beyond my expectations and gives the perfect amount of sunlight without being too overbearing. This bathroom gets the afternoon sun and I don’t want blazing sun rays to come in. I was skeptical of the reviews. I wanted to be able to see out of the window without feeling as if I was on display with others looking in. The reviews for these panels indicated that they would do the trick. From my perspective, the reviews understated how magnificent these panels are. They function more like solar shades than sheer panels. Sheer? Semi. They are not completely sheer so you have to be prepared to lose some sunlight from hanging them (I have the beige pair, I don't know if it would be different if I purchased the white panels). I can typically see when the wall mounted television is on when I look into the house while I am working outside. I couldn't see that or anything else after hanging these panels. I fully lifted my blinds and couldn't see into the house. When I went out in the evening to check, I could see a faint light where the television sits (with limited lights on). I could tell that some sort of light was on, but since I didn't have all lights on, there wasn't much detail when looking in. The view from inside to out is not as clear as a regular sheer (obviously) but you can see what's going on. I can see traffic passing, my neighbors homes, our cars in the driveway, and people walking by - without feeling as if we make eye contact with every person who passes the house. Other than being functional, they are also beautiful. They look like linen sheers, and appear to be sturdy than a typical linen panel. I love these panels. A lot. High quality thick white curtains that are wonderful when you add another color curtain in front of it. It’s not thin material at all and looks very nice for some privacy. They hang very nicely and look elegant.

I am very pleased with these curtains. They are well made, fabric is a nice semi sheer weave and they hang well. About the only thing I would have liked is for them to be a cotton blend instead of all polyester.
