For the price I don’t think you can get a more solidly built RC car. Are there trade offs to give you something this fast at this price? Sure. Mainly the controller - but it’s perfectly usable. If you want something that is a blast to drive, will hit 40+ mph, and won’t require a $300+ investment- this is the way to go. My son has one so I bought a second just so we could race them. Two is still less money than we’d spend on 90% of the higher end RC cars from the big brands Iike Traxxas (and I know they make great stuff). This lets someone get into the world of higher performing RC cars and trucks at a reasonable starting point. One bit of advice - this may be too fast for younger inexperienced RC users. You can set the throttle at a 70% max speed but if you are going to have young kids with no experience use this be sure it’s in a very open space without obstacles they might hit at high speed. ... show more

This is an awsome rc buggy. On 3s this thing rips. It has taken serious tumbles without any damage. It corners great too but, it has short shocks on front and long shocks on rear. After jumping alot and bottoming out the front I decided to put another set of rear shocks on the front and WOW! What a difference. it is perfectly balanced and doesnt flip at all anymore.     • Resilient RC car with very few limitations

The media could not be loaded. After searching and reading reviews for hours on many different RC cars offered on Amazon. I made the decision to purchase this one and I have zero regrets. It is extremely fast, very easy for my eight year old son to drive and control, very durable thus far and with all of the jumps and loops we’ve driven it through. It still works perfectly. Here it is my list of pros and cons. Pros: Very fast (but not uncontrollable) Battery life is decent (about 15 minutes on 70% power) but it came with two batteries and that’s a huge plus! It came with spare parts, such as extra shocks and front axle. You can control the front trim a.k.a. alignment with the remote, as well as varying the intensity of the throttle. There are many more pros, but those are the main ones. Cons: The wheelie bar that came with it as an additional accessory really helps control the car when taking off very fast, but it is also the least resilient part of the car, and has already broken at the bottom screw, but was also able to be repaired with some super glue. That’s not exactly ideal, and is why it made my cons list. That is honestly the end of my cons list. Whether you are buying it for a younger kid or yourself (if you’re an adult like I am) I highly recommend it. ... show more

Wheels were loose upon arrival. Tightened those. Front alignment way off with wheels toed out severely. Fixed that Ordered the 11.1 v battery same day the truck arrived so I’m curious how much faster the bigger pack is really going to make it Will report and update this review after I get the bigger battery but for $125 after a $30 discount coupon this thing is pretty fun. We’ll see how long it lasts. I didn’t bother using cheap charger that came with it. Using a tenergy charger instead which is charging the batteries that came with the truck in under 20 minutes. 17 minutes iirc Esc gets screaming hot on this thing. It was actually 185 and cooled down a few degrees by the time I got my laser on it. Electronics and heat don’t mix very well! Edit/update: rear differential blew out after Less then a day using 3s battery pack, this thing had so much power with bigger battery it’s crazy but I just don’t think it’s built to really take that power hence why they sell upgraded diffs to the tune of $30ea x2=$60 , that’s half the price the entire truck cost me in the first place. Add in the other upgraded gear for another $30 and now you’re at $90 for upgraded drive train on this little truck These little trucks are fun and cool but I just don’t think the reliability is there I wound up returning truck and getting a kraton6s instead ... show more
