Fits in the stock stereo location in my '78 Trans Am w/out any modifications. Added a modest amp and the sound is awesome. Bluetooth connects to my phone, can play music and calls w/out issues. Easy to read, the angle it sits extended all the way out and down is like it was meant to be there. Gets a lot of comments at Cars and Coffee from folks who are amazed at the fitment and how at home it looks. Jensen isn't known for superior quality, but this one seems to be the exception. Upgraded to this unit in my 16 cruze. Install was a bit difficult but thats was due to car wireing not the radio. Once installed this unit is great and very responsive with a great sound quality.

First let me clarify a couple of confusing things to me, Amazon sells some other models that appear identical, but are at least missing SiriusXM capability- once I realized that I returned that model, and bought this one. The series that I bought comes in a mirror only model, this model carplay/andriod auto/ and the top end adds wireless andriod auto/carplay. Best I can tell they all have the same specs, other than interface abilities. This has AM/FM, Sirius(with the buffer, rewind feature on saved presets, like my pioneer and the kenwood before), Andriod Auto and Carplay (wired not wireless - to me not worth $100 more for the wireless model when I likely need to charge anyway, second USB port on side of screen easy to play additional music files, Bluetooth music and phone settings, backup camera connection - just one. With a component adapter, their is video in. Screen - this is the reason you get a bigger floating display. I would say this is very good for its price. You only have dimmer control, and now "color" brightness with the firmware update. The screen articulates up, down - out and you can rotate it verticle if needed, andriod mirroring does not work however in favor of andriod auto - which I would rather have anyway. you can also tilt right or left toward the driver to a small degree. Touch screen is very responsive, but I'm sure its resistive vs capacitive. There is some glare depending on your angle as you can expect with a glossy screen. I am going to test a couple of ipad matte screen protectors and cut to fit and will report back. Its not a dealbreaker - especially for $3xx and. Resoution is 1024x600, which is slightly better than most 7" cheaper models at 480. That being said, this screen is significantly larger, so think of this as a 720p laptop with bigger text/icons, vs smaller text on a 1080p screen for example. Its plenty sharp and colorful, just be aware. This is 9" screen and with bezels it could easily block airvents or other items on your vehicle. It will likely not be a great fit without the sacrifice for some vehicles. IN my case, I installed on a 06 Tacoma and it helps cover the dash kit behind, but does not cover up anything - clock, air vents, hazzards button. the Screen also gets plenty bright, for daytime use I have added a backup camera to my truck since it was not stock at the time, I will note - there is no options to add parking lines in the radio, so if you buy an aftermarket camera, dont cut the wire for internal ones. If you have a factory camera, I guess you are stuck. Id still rather have a camera with no lines vs no camera. As I mentioned before this has Sirius XM, which I really wanted (you will need the adapter to plug in)and has the record/replay capability. There is ability to add steering wheel controls, but on my old car, I much prefer to use the touch screeen and volume knob - YES you read right a volume knob and you push it in for mute. works great Sound quality was better than expected, especially with my 16 year old stock speakers. There is an eq with presets as well as a "loud" button under settings menu. Plenty of power and though I'm not using them currently 6 channel preamp outputs. While feature packed, this is still basic in some regards, menus can not be changes, backgrounds, button color (blue), etc are all set in stone. FIRMWARE: The latest firmware changes the andriod mirror icon to andriod auto, adds color brightness, and fixed a resolution/washout day screen in android auto maps (see below) So whats "bad" Biggest immediate complaint was daytime andoid auto map was washed out: see above firmware fixed this. Screen glare depending on angle, it does not wash out, just reflections No high pass/low pass crossover adjustment no wallpaper/screen icon movement etc backup camera gridlines would have been nice - even if they aren't adjustable. Whats my vertict? I am trilled with this item and ordering another for my 15 highlander. The pros (and especially the price) more than outweigh the few tradeoffs. ... show more

I got this to replace the factory radio in my 2013 Winnebago View on the Mercedes Sprinter 3500 chassis and it looks and works amazing. Nice big monitor for my back up camera and all the bells and whistles including Android Auto and CarPlay. It also has Sirius XM. The mounting options and adjustments are spot on. Pros on this... The screen looks good. Large and clear. Easy to navigate through the menu. Has an easy to use interface. The EQ is easy to configure because the screen is responsive. Cons. The sound quality is terrible through the outputs. (RCAs) When running directly to the speakers is sounds fine. If you plan on running amps with this thing. PASS on it. The noise the radio produces through the system is very noticeable. The knob has an obvious sound jump to it with every click. Up or down. When you drop the volume to zero the sound ends. Now keep in mind this is not a ground hum. This is a white noise produced by the radio itself. The systems I build are free of any ground noise. Keep it in mind if you buy this. Make sure that you either install it RIGHT away or go into your account and start the return process as soon as you get it. That way you are covered. I let it sit in my garage for 3 weeks prior to installing it. Then another week before I installed my amps and such. Now I'm out of luck on the return with Amazon because of their 30 day return policy. I tried to explain to them that it sat for 3 weeks before the install. They could care less. I spend on average around 10k a year with Amazon and they won't return it for me. I know this is my fault for not installing it sooner but it is what it is.     • Just what the RV needed!
It does everything you would want it to do. We installed in our RV that only had a single DIN. Bought it for the CarPlay to stream and Waze. Super simple volume knob, no need to hung like some models. Sound quality is great. Buy it!

I don't like the minimal presets.. It's better than not having one.. The best part is I can actually see the screen without my reading glasses on.

Took me about 45 minutes to install when I powered it on for first time had to adjust audio for better sound quality but over all it worked perfectly and flawless for the money
