The zipper stays hidden nicely so it just looks like a comforter. Its not a silky soft cotton. It’s a little rougher but I kind of like it when I’m laying on top of the bed for a midday nap, I feel like it will hold up better and I imagine will get softer over time. We still use a softer top sheet underneath but don’t really need to. We ended up returning the rust for the dark green and it looks great. It’s a bit of a blue-ish green. Will probably buy a second eventually so we can have one in the wash. There is some wrinkling but as long as you take it out of the dryer right away they are minimal and don’t bother us. This is a great duvet cover for our Queen Down comforter. It came with 2 matching pillow cases and both the pillow cases and the duvet cover are 100% cotton, which is the only way my wife prefers as she prefers nothing but cotton when it comes to sleepwear and beddings. It's very soft to touch and feel comfortable and cool to the body. We use duvet cover because our Down comforter sometimes have goose feather sticking out and more we make contact directly with the comforter, the more feather we lose, not to mention it's so much easier to simply wash the duvet cover rather than the Down comforter when we have stain or spill something. I also appreciate that this duvet cover has 4 corner ties for holding on to the Down comforters by corners so that it keeps aligned and in tact with the comforter. We have many duvet cover since we do wash them often so we prefer to change the duvet cover and put the old one in the hamper to be washed at the laundromat. It came with a matching storage bag, which was nice bonus so we can keep them in there after washing until the next time we need to switch the duvet cover for washing. 5 out of 5 stars! ... show more

The material is very soft and comfortable, made of washed cotton. I love the green Morandi color. Though it is a bit darker compared with the picture but still looks great and not easy to get dirty (I have two cats who love to sleep on bed:) ) It is difficult to be 100% wrinkle-free since it is cotton, but it looked fine after I washed it. ... show more

I've been looking for something "non-cooling" because im always cold. Once I got this, I loved the color. It was a perfect shade of pastel pink with a gray undertone. I washed it, and put the cover on my comforter, and it's so soft! Especially for the lightening deal price ($36), this is well worth the money. Definitely 100% cotton. It's not a high thread count, but isn't bad. Fit my full down comforter perfectly. Having the hidden zipper is so much better than buttons, too. I'd buy again.
