Had to clean out all the holes on both extension cords then my controllers worked with the extension cords. They must have something in the cord ends to keep them from corroding so make sure to clean each hole / pin out before using and they will work.

These don't work. The connector doesn't seat correctly into the Nintendo gameport. And when you do manage to get them plugged in, they do not operate correctly. One of the two in the pack partially worked, but would not allow you to press a button and the d-pad at the same time. Attempting to do so would cause the character to not move at all. The other cable locked up your Nintendo and prevented games from loading at all. Plugging it in when the system was on would immediate lock up whatever game was playing. I expect this is a wiring problem combined with a bad connector mold. Do not buy these. Look for a better brand. ... show more

The cord is very durable and the male and female connection is perfect. I also do not notice any latency while using it. I have no problems using it and neither will you.

    • They do exactly what they're supposed to do and work.
I wanted to mount our old NES behind the tv on the wall, so we wouldn't have to drag it out and set it up every time we wanted to play. (Yes, we're old and still addicted to Dr. Mario.) These were the perfect solution as they enabled me to mount the unit behind the tv and still have the cords reach to the couch without affecting play or connections.
