I took this on a long plane trip and it kept my switch charged when it started to die. Unit itself charges pretty quick. It does add some weight to the switch but not enough that it deters from playing. Someone on the plane was super jealous and said they were gonna buy one when we landed. It is heavy, but it definitely gives me more play time. I only plug my switch in every 3 days now as opposed to every night. The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is because the hinge for the extra game compartment broke the first time I used it, witch sucks, but I've had it 2 months now with no performance issues. ... show more

Bought for my son’s switch as we had a big 12hr trip / move to TX. Charger Added at least 4hrs of game time with out having to be plugged in. Highly recommend!!!

When I ordered it I was hoping that it fit in my Satisfye Slim Pro Grip case. I was soooooooo happy that it fit perfectly. I would recommend getting a pair of Binbok split controllers because they fit in the case perfectly with the battery pack attached. I also have room underneath my Switch screen for my game cart cases. The battery came 75 percent charged which was a plus. It looks like it is made perfectly for my type of setup. I can use the very sturdy legs on the battery if I want that perfect angle or stand it freely without the legs because of how my controllers are made at the bottom. I love having that option. The battery is legit and I love it. It is not heavy at all but you can tell a little weight has been added to the device. One thing I do not like is that when I plug my BT adapter in the bottom of the battery when it is attached to the Switch, it is not recognized by my Switch. That sort of bummed me out because I can't use my airpods while the battery is attached. I guess i will have to invest in a pair of wired earbuds. Got this for a vacation coming up with very long layovers ahead. Will definitely be gaming on the go worry free. Arrived pre charged as well, so I could test it immediately. Legs on back are sturdy, so will be useful on the plane. The little buttons to extend the cradle to plug in are great, and grip is firm once switch is plugged in. Very pleased. ^_^ ... show more

The product works exactly as described. I upgraded to offbrand joycons after I encountered Nintendo's infamous joycon drift. The joycons I chose can be a bit power hungry with the lighting around the base of the joysticks, so a power bank for the switch is exactly what I needed. This product solved that problem, but also added some extra girth to the Switch, which offset the girth of my new joycons. This was perfect for me, but using the regular joycons with the power bank feels a little off-balance. If you're playing the switch with your Joycons detached, you probably won't though. The dual-sided kickstand is amazing. These kickstands don't feel cheap and they have the perfect amount of tension to make them easy to move, and yet hold form exactly where you want it to be. The slot for the games feels a bit cheap and can be a little hard to open, but it's still convenient and still a fantastic feature. My only issue with this product has been the "smart charge" feature turning my joycons on when the switch is idle. It'll do this every so often, and I feel like it defeats the prupose a little. However, I understand most people won't have this issue. I've been using this product for three months now. I can't comment on the battery life much because I don't use the standard joycons. All I can say is that with a full charge, I can binge play for several hours, no problem, even with my LEDs on max intensity.
