This works. On a cool day, this fits nicely over my Helix Dusk mattress, which is a thick hybrid. That said, I wouldn't call the material comfortable. Against bare skin, it itches. You get what you pay for.

She loves this set, and after more than a month of use she has reported back to me she gives it five stars! The design is simple and pretty, it fits the bed as expected, but I think the best part is how warm it is, I’ve never had a toastier blanket for my bed. I’m writing this review in the cold season, and I’ve been loving how warm I've been. Typically, I like to layer on several blankets to stay as warm as I like, but since getting this I’ve actually had to remove most of them because of how warm this one is. Very fluffy too! This is a nice, plush blanket. It did arrive vacuum sealed and the first thing I did was wash it - to both clean it and plump it up. And it did plump and fluff nicely. It is so plush and the material has a silky texture that my son like to roll up in it and says it makes him feel like he's in a sleeping bag. It's so plush, it is difficult to cuddle up into without falling into a mound of fluff. Had initial concerns about warmth - I'll note that I live in a tropical climate so this is relative, 74°F is chilly for me - but it surprisingly retained a bit of heat that I didn't feel cold. The pattern is a nice neutral pattern that isn't distracting or obnoxious. The underside is a nice shade of green and looks nice when the top is folded down on a freshly made bed.
