After looking at many vehicles like this I settled on the Fisher Price, primarily because of weight capacity (130 lbs versus 70 lbs for cheap Chinese off brand) and reviews. I received it ahead of promise date, well packaged. Assembly took about 90 minutes, including decals. Instructions are absolutely the best step-by-step instructions with pictures that I have ever seen in a product of similar complexity. It is so well designed and of high enough quality that if you think you have to force something you need to stop and reread the instructions. Stress parts are either steel or nylon. It comes with a 9ah 12v sealed battery that lasts for a couple of hours. I feel certain that this will still be running long after my grandkids outgrow it. My sons love it. Beautiful design and safe. It doesn't tip and goes on grass just as on the side walk. It has two speeds and a reverse gear. It is so much fun. It takes two people to put it together. If you follow instructions in details it should take around one hour to finish putting it together. I bought it for my 3-year and 2-year olds. The size is perfect for both. And I know it could serve them for until they turn 10 and 11, because I see my neighbors sons still use it. They are 11 and 8. So I truly believe it's a good investment. My son’s jeep stopped working after a few uses. I got a hold of customer service and they sent me to a location nearby with my Jeep. The service guy fixed it in a couple of minutes. My son is 35” tall and fits fine with his 5 year old friend up the street. He has learned to drive this thing super well and is using the fast mode. There is NO seatbelt so just know it before you buy. Would probably be easy to install one if someone wanted to save some money and rig one into the plastic. We bought this Power Wheels (the red jeep) for our 2.5 year old daughter who became VERY interested in driving- wanting to drive my and my husband's car. This is the next best thing and it has been her favorite 'toy' to play with all summer. Nearly everyday she wants to 'ride my Jeep.' This has been a great purchase! The assembly was a lot easier than I thought it was going to be. It required my husband and I---I was read the directions and get the appropriate pieces in place for him and he would assemble. We passed the IKEA furniture test a long time ago to test our marriage so this was a breeze. I would say it took about 1.5 hours total-including putting on the stickers. We particularly wanted a Power Wheels that had a 2 seater for when friends come over and I can say that this easily fits two 2.5 year old girls with room to spare. I do wish now that it had a remote control since my daughter hasn't quite mastered steering, but she is getting better at it. ... show more

Bought for my sons birthday, paid way too much to clear, it came without the rear axle so it couldn’t set up, paid again to receive the rear axle just to realize the battery doesn’t work, paid the 3rd time to get the battery, and finally 6 months later it drives. It was very ethic, time consuming and very expensive more over the boys don’t like it, it’s too basic don’t do anything other than drive. Total waist of time, money and energy. Would never never purchase again or advice any one to, just not worth it. ... show more
